2017 will see five new décors of Neolith ranging from premium marbles to rusty concretes; it will see a new thickness – 20mm - ; new polishing solutions and textures; new slab size -3200 x 1600mm – launched into the market.

This year, Neolith becomes the only sintered stone in the world to offer a rich color pallet in gorgeous textures ranging from 3 to 20mm. Inspired by real Carrara marbles from Italy, Blanco Carrara is the result of a meticulous selection process. TheSize in-house designers collate dozens of natural Carrara marbles around Italy and from each one, pin point the exact quality and characteristic that will be replicated in the Neolith slab. With this custom approach to designing, the final product is a truly unique entity, comprised of natural aesthetic elements and exclusive to Neolith – there is quite literally no natural stone like it.

To realistically portray the likeness to natural marbles and their unpredictability, two versions of Blanco Carrara have been created; one a more subtle portrayal of the veining and the other, a prominent, high-contrast version. Blanco Carrara is available in two thicknesses, 6mm and 12mm, and in two finishes, Décor Polished and Silk.

Inspirado por mármoles auténticos de Carrara en Italia, Blanco Carrara es el resultado de un meticulos proceso de selección. Los diseñadores de TheSize cotejaron docenas de tablas de mármol de Carrara provenientes de Italia y seleccionaron las mejores partes de cada una de ellas para dar forma al diseño irreplicable de la tabla Neolith. Following suit from one of the most popular décors from the 2015 Neolith launches, Concrete Taupe differentiates itself from its predecessor Beton with an all over brown wash of colour and warmer tone. Appealing to industrial design trends, the slab tells a story of time with a worn out and well-loved finish. The décor suggests that a natural rusting has occurred but with the addition of micro flakes to add the slightest sparkle, TheSize have updated, modernised and created another facet to the slab. Available in 6mm and 12mm in Silk finish, Concrete Taupe is a neutral décor ideal for a multitude of applications ranging from interior, exterior cladding and furniture.

Neolith takes you on a trip to Iran with this contemporary twist on Iranian Gray Stone. The Neolith design incorporates a richer, industrial grey tone, with white veins etched onto the backdrop in contradicting directions. This slab pays tribute to the recently deceased and incredibly talented Zaha Hadid, a true inspiration to the architectural community. This slab is the most daring model produced in 2017 and for that reason, is a nod of recognition from TheSize to the legacy left behind by Hadid. Available in 6mm and 12mm and in Silk finish, the Persian inspired stone is the statement piece of these new introductions.

Another décor in Full Body to be launched by TheSize following Pierre Bleue, this dark gray matte is inspired by natural Aspen stone. With the addition of countless micro elements randomly scattered throughout, the entirety of the slab is granted depth, a sense of ornateness and character. Aligned with the same NDD technology used to develop the Pierre Bleue décor, Aspen Grey’s colour is not only on the surface but is present all the way through the slab. Available in 6mm and 12mm in soft touch Silk, it presents itself as the ideal slab for creating the illusion of texture in interior and exterior cladding, flooring, kitchen and bathroom worktops, and furniture applications. Neolith’s answer to a timeless monochromatic trend that transcends interior design, fashion and architecture, this décor is an indispensable part of these introductions. Inspired by marble from Spain, Nero Marquina is a testament to the technical expertise present at TheSize. To achieve bright white veining on a pure black backdrop is a task testing enough on paper, but for a slab, a new technical avenue is entered. For this challenge, TheSize has developed an exclusive technique to achieve the stark contrast and distinct fine lines. Available in Polished and Silk finishes and in 6mm and 12mm thicknesses, it is ideal for floors, walls, bathroom and kitchen worktops, as well as furniture.

Neolith launches a new Polished technology that will coexist with the current Neolith Décor Polished present in some of the Classtone decors.

NanoTech Polished, however, manages to achieve the same glossy finish achieved in Décor Polished, without the need for the additional glass layer.

Instead of applying the cover, the slab is directly polished once it comes out of the kiln and by using a special raw material during the sinterisation process and a studied polishing technique, a perfectly flat reflection is achieved. This type of finish outstands for its flexural strength, its higher resistance to abrasion in comprasion to the previous one and it is ideal for full-body designed slabs.

Thanks to the unique raw materials involved in the process, Neolith Nanotech Polished provides the whitest white and darkest black options available in the market of Sintered Surfaces. Forever innovating and disrupting the industry, 2017 will see TheSize become the first manufacturer to produce a 20mm thickness with its proprietary sintering technology. It is cementing TheSize as market leaders and the only players in the game to offer such a wide range of possibilities; from 3mm to 20mm, and exterior cladding to worktops and furniture cladding. The 20mm thickness will be made available with a select few décors initially; Basalt Black Satin; Arctic White Silk; Calacatta Silk; Beton Silk; and Pierre Bleue Silk.
