Las nuevas horquillas de Motocross SXS con sistema de Cartucho Cerrado son el resultado del trabajo desarrollado por pilotos profesionales, ingenieros de competición y departa-mento de desarrollo de WP. La horquilla SXS posee ajustes de compresión y rebote multiajustable desde el exterior. Todas las piezas tienen un acabado de alta calidad, lo cual garantiza una mínima fricción entre los elementos y una perfecta lubrificación. La horquilla SXS es fácilmente desmontable para realizar una óptima manutención. Es posible ajustar los settings internos a gusto del piloto. Trabaja mejor combinada con el amortiguador SXS.
SXS FACTORY FORK
The SXS motocross closed cartridge frontfork is a result of the teamwork from championship riders, race engineers and the WP development department. The SXS front fork has multi-adjustable rebound and compression damping from the outside. All parts have a high fi nish to eliminate friction and to guarantee optimum lubrication.
– Polished springs.
– Inner tubes are coated and polished. – Polished and coated aluminium piston rod. – Hard anodised CNC machined parts.
The sxs front fork can be fully stripped and internally serviced. It is possible to modify internal settings to create individual preferred damping performance.
Works best in combination with the SXS factory shock.

This absolute high-end motocross shockabsorber is a direct copy of the shockabsorber as fitted in the KTM factory bikes competing in the offroad world-championships.
This suspension unit contains all external adjusting options: – Seperate adjustable high- and low speed compression damping. – Rebound damping adjuster.
– Infinitely adjustable spring preload.
The SXS shockabsorber is assembled from quality parts with a high finish like a titan-nitride coated piston rod, and hard anodized 7075 alu parts. This product is completely dismountable, serviceable and offers the possiblity to fine tune internal settings.

El embrague anti rebotes es fudamental para cualquier piloto de Supermoto. Todos conocen a la perfección el problema del rebote de la rueda trasera en frenadas bruscas. Los pilotos de Supermoto con más experiencia, compensan un poco este problema pellizcando sutilmente el embrague, y eliminando de esta manera la transmisión de potencia a la rueda trasera. Los ingenieros de KTM han desarrollado un embrague anti-rebotes como solución a este pro-blema, un dispositivo que funciona mediante muelles más blandos, y en consecuencia es más cómodo de usar que los embragues convencionales. Para evitar que el embrague patine en condiciones normales, los ingenieros han desarrollado un complejo mecanismo con rampas inclinadas que amplifican la potencia.
Este sistema genera una presión adicional sobre los discos de embrague con el motor bajo carga, a la vez que permiten que patine cuando se detecta un exceso de revoluciones del motor. La rueda trasera permanece entonces al máximo en contacto con el asfalto, sin que el piloto tenga que concentrarse en el uso correcto del embrague, ahorrándole mucho esfuerzo y evitando a su vez los clásicos problemas de inflamación y agarrotamiento del antebrazo.
ANTIHOPPING CLUTCH
Anti-hopping clutch a must for any ambitious Supermoto rider. Everyone knows about juddering: heavy braking in a curve can lead to unnerving shuddering at the rear wheel. Experienced supermoto riders overcome this problem with a gentle pull on the clutch lever, thereby reducing the transmission of this force to the rear wheel. Resourceful engineers have now come up with the solution: the anti-hopping clutch. This patent principally works by using softer springs and is consequently much easier to use than conventional clutches. A complex mechanism using angled layers for additional friction was developed to prevent clutch-slippage. Under engine-load this system generates additional pressure on the clutch plates, but when over-running the clutch is able to slip. While braking the rear wheel main-tains optimal contact with the road surface without the rider having to concentrate on the clutch. At the same time the rider saves a lot of energy and spares himself the discomfort of a cramped forearm.
