reu-nió por casi todos sus
habitan-tes y la Asociación de
Desar-rollo del Valle de la Estancia.
El entusiasmo que se

pasada por la ultima

alivio á ios sufrientes de las inundaciones, que seria de
in-terés á iodos ciudadanos del

1. Subscribers who do not give
ex-press notice to tbe contrary are
consid-ered as wishing to continue their
sub-scriptions.
2. If subscribers order the
discontin-uance of their periodicals, the
publish-er may continue to send them until all
arrearages are paid.
3. Ifsubscribers neglect or refuse
to take their periodicals from the post-offic- e
to which they tire directed, they are responsible until they have settled their bills and ordered them discontin-ued.
i, If the subscribermoves to another place without informing the publishers, and the papers are tent to the former directions, he is hela responsible.
5. The courts have decided that the
refusing to take periodicals from the
post-offic- or removing or leaving them
uncalled for, is prima facie evidence of intentional fraud.
(5. If subscribers pay in advance they
are bound to give notice tothe
publish-ers at the ena of their time if they do
not wish to continue taking it; otherwise the publisher is authorized to send it and the subscriber will be responsible until an express notice, with paymentof arrearage, is sent to ttio publisher.
7. The latest postal laws are auch that newspaper publishers can arrest any one for fraud who takes a paper and
refuses to pay for it. Under this law the man who allows his subscription to run

Wednesday the train from the
south ran off the track near Bianco
and was obliged to send to Estancia
for a wrecking outfit to replace the
injured engine truck, causing a
de-lay of several hours, but causing no
serious damage.

Judge A, H. Garnett filed his
bond as Notary Public last
Tues-day and is now qualified in that
capacity.
Serafín Candelario of Manzano
is in town this week for the
pur-pose of attending the teacher's
for a game between the Estancia
ball team and the team at Willard
on the diamond at that place next
Sunday. A number of our citizens
will doudtless go with the boys to
see the game, and a good game is
anticipated.
