La versión final
Una vez terminada la versión final de manuscrito
debe prepararse para su envío a la revista elegida
Comprobaciones a realizar:
Comprobar la bibliografía. ¿Todos los artículos citados en el
texto están incluidos en la bibliografía? ¿Todos los artículos en la
bibliografía están citados en el texto? (gestores bibliográficos).
Leer de nuevo las Instructions for Authors, y siga las
instrucciones al pie de la letra.
Envíe una carta de presentación a la revista junto con el
artículo (cada revista tiene su protocolo).

A través de la página web de la revista.
o El envío electrónico ahorra tiempo.
o En todo momento se conoce el “status of
the manuscript”.
o Permite su uso en formato electrónico a
lo largo del proceso editorial.

En cualquier momento se puede consultar cual es la
situación del artículo en proceso entrando en la página
web de la revista seleccionada para enviar el artículo.
Si pasado un tiempo prudencial de 1 mes y medio o 2
meses no han contestado es conveniente preguntar por
el “STATUS OF THE MANUSCRIPT”.
Finalmente, el editor contesta si el artículo es aceptado
con revisiones menores (minor modifications), mayores
(major modifications) o es rechazado.

The contribution is well within the scope of the journal Radiation
Measurements. Some changes (revision) are, however, necessary before to accept it for publication. Basic recommendations how to do it are following:
A. TECHNICAL CONTENT
1.Track detectors are not sensitive to low LET...
2. There are also other interfering effects in the case of LSS... 3. Methodology is not presented properly...
B. PRESENTATION
1. Correct terms and units has to be used...
2. All abbreviations have to be introduced before using them... 3. Neither Tables nor Figure captions are clear, should be improved...

Leer los comentarios con calma y con la máxima
objetividad posible.
Si las críticas son duras, no se enfade: leerlas con
calma, e intentar comprender exactamente cuáles son
los problemas que encuentra el referee.
Distinguir entre los comentarios importantes y los
menos importantes.
Dedicar el tiempo necesario a la respuesta.
Siempre ayuda a identificar cada elemento de la
respuesta con el número de comentario del referee.
