Agent Delacroix stands 5ft 9” with short cropped dark hair and a lean but muscular build. She comes across as brutish and foul mouthed but is an excellent soldier. She was recruited to Tigera after a series of unsuccessful campaigns on Earth where she repeatedly took units of covert troops into enemy territory to accomplish espionage missions. Her reckless approach (although successful) and taste for exotic drugs was incompatible with the Western Federation’s ethos, and she was offered either expulsion or an assignment on Miller-Urey defending the field scientists from the life forms they were studying. With no need for subtlety and enough mind affecting substances growing on the trees to kill her, Delacroix thought she had struck gold. She has recently taken it upon herself to become an expert on extra-terrestrial life and is knowledgeable in the field of behavioural science. She normally arms herself with a customised plasma pistol and plasma sword, which she maintains is the only way to cut through the tough carapaces that many BIOs seem to naturally evolve over time.

Dr Laydian Okoth

Comoros, Senior Mutician. Rank 6 / Level 2

Okoth, originally from Nigeria, is a tall, thin man of some years with a short white beard; his name is synonymous with suffering and perversion. In the eyes of Comoros the man is an aberration and should be executed, but his results are such that the UIG insist he remains employed as a mutician. Thus Comoros would rather have some degree of control over him than give him over to the UIG, where he would be given free run of the genetics labs. Okoth is a paranoid man who believes he is persecuted for his genius. He is wary of strangers and assumes everyone is jealous of his ability and position. Consequently he keeps a perimeter of guards at a safe distance. For more personal security however, Okoth maintains a small unit of genetically engineered and mutated BIOs who are totally loyal to him if a little unpredictable around others. For the most part Okoth is left to his own devices while Comoros watches the monster create more monsters against their better judgement. Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.

Dr Vaasala Laiha

Gemini Bioware, Head of Miller-Urey Operations. Rank 6 / Level 3

Laiha is a woman of average height and unremarkable appearance. She has long blond hair and pale blue eyes telling of her Scandinavian descent. Although Laiha has a doctorate in pharmacology she seldom refers to it. She was made Head of Operations based purely on her ability to get things done and motivate her staff. She studied for the doctorate while on Miller-Urey so she could better understand the work of her employees. Laiha is from Finland and was headhunted by E.I. but she refused them, claiming they were “unstructured and clumsy children messing with money and life as though they were toys.”

Gemini maintains a far more professional approach that suits Laiha well. She takes everything seriously and has no time for jokers and time wasters. Lahias only vice lies in men, she is an insatiable man eater who always maintains a stream of suitors attracted by her high position and businesslike manner. The only bad decisions Lahia has made have been about or caused by men.
