I. El concepto de método comparativo
Following steps may be taken to work out the Gangadhar Dasa for any birth map
· Draw the Navamsha and Dreshkana chart correctly from the longitude of Lagna and other planets for the birth chart under consideration.
· Find out the Deha and Jeeva Rasi of Lagna as per 3.1 & 3.2
· Determine the stronger sign between Deha and Jeeva Rasi of Lagna as per 4.0
· Note down the Maha Dasa sequence as per the table under 6.0 and for Bhukti or Antar‐ Dasa follow the suggestion given under 8.0
· Work out the balance of Dasa at birth as per 9.0
· Proceed with the interpretation of an event occurred under any Dasa and Bhukti. Example No. 1
The chart taken below for the purpose of discussion belongs to Barack Obama who is the 44th president of USA. His birth particulars as given below have been taken from an article of SA (Vol. 4) discussed by our senior astrologer Sri Iranganti Rangacharya. Materialisation of following important events taken from internet is to be examined with the help of Gangadhar Rasi Dasa. Only those events have been taken whose months of manifestation; if not exact date, could be found and the events with only years have been ignored as they do not fit in the scheme of better accuracy. Here, in all the interpretations, use of Chara Karaka has been deliberately avoided because of obvious reasons. As is the case with Dreshkana charts, so is the case with Chara Karaka and Arudha evaluation. While the former is erected wrongly, the later is computed wrongly. Formation of Vipreet Raja yoga has occurred here in interesting manner that is not ordinarily visible. Aquarius Dasa being 7th Dasa was a Shishumar Dasa in which Obama is too much involved in too many things that includes even an unsuccessful bid to get a seat in the US House of Representatives. His govt. came in minority in May 1999 due to withdrawal of support by AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha and he became head of the care taker government. The next Bhukti of Aries augmented his ability as a statesman that can be understood by the visit of Bill Clinton in March 2000 and the declaration of his candid support for India. Sign Aries is identical with 7th house containing all the ingredients of 10th house and 4th house. The Arudha of 11th house falls in Aries and he gained name and fame as a matured and experienced politician. He also managed to get the hostages released from Kandhar with the help of US and other powerful European countries during the same Bhukti. Aries is also aspected by debilitate 10th lord Moon and Lagna lord Venus.
In spite of the fact that Vajpayee managed the things nicely during his tenure, he faced some really tough times during the Bhukti of Aries Dasa. Aries Dasa started from 30‐12‐1999 when his govt had to face the consequences of Gujarat earth quake. In spite of huge support from the world over, his govt was criticised for mishandling and misappropriation of funds. The lord of Aries Mars is placed in the 6th house. The problem was further compounded by Tehalka disclosures of bribery in March 2001.
