Citral FCC

Citrus, lemon, agrumic, peel. Clear colorless to pale yellowish liquid. Found in agrumen and litsea cubeba oils, in grapes, ginger, thyme and basil. Natural identical substance (main component of many essential oils like lemon grass, litsea cubeba etc.), therefore very useful for fresh, citrus-like, agrumic notes. Poor stability if exposed to air, alkali or daylight. Not suitable for detergents and household products.

Citronellal

It shows an intensive citrus-like odor but seems to be less sweet and fruity than citral. The quality of this aroma chemical is very good and comparable to citronella oil.

Citronellol

Floral, rose, citrus, green. Clear colorless liquid. Found in roses, apples, apricots, citrus fruits, grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, mint, pepper, tea, honey, basil, passion fruit, mango, cardamom, coriander, litchi.

Fresh, powerful, long lasting rosy fragrance material. Indispensable component for numerous fresh-floral compounds. Major ingredient for functional products caused by its excellent stability.

Citronellyl Acetate

Floral, rose, fruity, sweet. Clear colorless liquid. Found in essential oils of citronella ceylon, geranium, and many others. Excellent performance in fruity-floral compounds for functional products e.g., for reconstitution of rosy notes proposed for toiletries, cosmetics and detergents. Use level in compositions up to 30 %.

Citronellyl Nitrile

Citrus, green, fruity, floral. Clear colorless to yellowish liquid. It shows a very intensive odor reminis-cent of citrus when diluted. It is an excellent substitute for citronellal as an citric fragrance component for alkaline product bases. Use level in compounds up to 50 %.

Diacetyl FCC

Fatty, oily, sweet. Intensively yellow to greenish yellow liquid. Found in essential oils and aromas of many plants, e.g. lavender, apples, agrumen oils, raspberries, strawberries, carrots, celerlac; in vinegar, bread milk, cheese, eggs and butter. It shows an extreme strong and radiant, almost pungent odor like butter-oil in dilution. It is mainly used in flavor compositions.

Geraniol Extra

Floral, deep, warm rose note. Clear colorless liquid. Found in many essential oils such as palmarosa, citronella, ginger grass, geranium. For use in fine fragrances, cosmetic and toiletries and household scents. Use level in compounds up to 40 %.

Geraniol 60

Floral, fresh rose note, less impact than pure geraniol. Clear colorless liquid. Found in many essential oils such as palmarosa, citronella, ginger grass, geranium. For main use in cosmetic and toiletries, also in fine fragrances and household scents. Up to 50 %.

Geranonitrile

Very intensive odor, with a reminiscence of citrus accompanied by a fresh green hay-like undertone.

Yellowish liquid. It shows an excellent stability in aggressive product bases, particular at a high pH value. Stable substitute for common citrus materials such as citral. Can be used up to 15 %.

Geranyl Acetone

Floral, rose, sweet, green. Clear colorless to yellowish liquid. Found in essential oils of thyme, mentha piperita, pepper and tomatoes. Shows rosy-watery facets which are very suitable for light fragrances of the today’s market trend. Due to its stability, very useful as floralizer particular for surfactants - containing product bases. Use level in compounds up to 5 %.

Hydroxyciol

Floral, green, sweet. Clear colorless, viscous liquid. Found in the fungus ascoidea hylecoetie. It shows a weak but long lasting, sweet-floral odor, which is less reminiscent of lily-of-the-valley than the corresponding aldehyde. It gives excellent fixative effects to floral compounds. Use level in compositions from 1 to 10 %.

Hydroxycitronellal

Muguet, floral, sweet green. Clear colorless liquid. It shows a radiant, fresh floral odor reminiscent of lily-of-the-valley. This aroma chemical is one of the main components for fresh, green floral com-pounds like muguet, narcisse or hyacinth. For use up to 5 % (IFRA).

Iso Amyl Acetate

Intensive fresh, fruity, reminiscent of pears and bananas when diluted. Clear colorless liquid. Found in pears, pineapples, strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes. Occasionally used in perfumery when a fresh-fruity note is demanded. The major application is the use in nail polish removers and nail polish as a solvent. For use in compounds up to 20 %.

Iso Phytol R

Floral, herbal, green. Clear colorless liquid. Found in jasmine absolute. It shows an excellent tenacity and fixative properties. Use level in compounds up to 10 %.

Iso Valeraldehyde

In pure pungent acrid and cough-provoking, in extreme dilution dry, fruity, coca like, nutty. Clear colorless liquid. Found in kohlrabi, carrots, peaches, tomatoes. Used as top note modifier for fruity compounds proposed for alcoholic and cosmetic perfumery. Use level in compounds at trace levels to 0.5 %.

Jasmorange®

Fruity floral green, balsamic. Clear colorless to pale yellowish liquid. Jasmorange gives very interesting effects in combination with agrumic oils and shows in dilution a melon-like note.

Excellent stability in functional product bases and at higher pH-values.

Linalool

Fresh floral, herbal, rosewood, petitgrain. Clear colorless liquid. Found in numerous essential oils such as bergamot, lavender, rose and jasmin absolutes and many fruits such as apples, bananas, citrus and spices. For its floral freshness very widely used in all kinds of functional and alcoholic perfumes. This material is more floral and less terpenic than linalool qualities from the turpentine oil route.

Linalyl Acetate

Floral, bergamot, petitgrain, lavender. Colorless liquid with fresh, floral fruity odor. Found in essential oils of lavender, bergamot, petitgrain, and neroli. For its floral freshness widely used in all kinds of functional and alcoholic perfumery. Our quality is more floral and less piney compared to other qualities derived from turpentine oil. Use level in compounds up to 25 %.

an an important component for surfactants containing products. Use levels in compounds up to 25 %.

Methyl Heptenone

Pungent fruity, green, citrus, herbal. Clear colorless to yellowish liquid. Material for blending or for reconstruction of agrumic oils. Due to its power it shows a good performance for masking off-odors in household and detergent products as well as for repellents and insecticide sprays. Used level in compounds from .1 to 2 %.

Morillol®

Earthy, herbal, mushroom, lavender. Clear colorless liquid. This nature identical material was ident-ified as component of lavandin and many other important essential oils. Therefore it is used for preparing artificial essential oil and for certain reconstituted essential oils. In the field of alcoholic perfumery it supports earthy, spicy and herbal notes particular for masculine fragrances. Use level in compounds - traces to 1 %.

Nerolidol

Mild delicate sweet, floral, green, woody. Clear colorless to pale yellowish liquid. Found in ylang ylang oil, petitgrain oil Paraguay, neroli oil, citrus fruit, strawberries, ginger, pepper, thyme, oil of hops tea and mushrooms. It shows excellent fixative effects and alkali stability very useful for the fond of many floral compositions. Uselevel in compounds from 1 to 10 %.

n-Valeraldehyde

Dry, fruity, nutty. Clear colorless liquid. Found in bulgarian rose oil, eucalyptus oil, apples, walnuts, tomatoes. Pungent odor, which is fruity and nutty when diluted. Useful for top note in fruity-green compounds. Poor alkali-stability. Used level in compounds - traces to 2 %.

p-Cresol Methyl Ether

Pungent sweet, ylang, almond. Clear colorless liquid. Found in ylang ylang, cananga oil, in tomatoes, cheese. It shows a very pungent sweet odor. In dilution reminiscent of ylang-ylang and cananga oil. Well-known as ingredient for floral notes like jasmine, lilac, etc. Very good performance in surfactants-containing products. Use level in compounts from 1 to 10 %.

Phytol

Floral, balsamic. Clear colorless to yellowish liquid. Found in jasmineabsolute, and-the optically active E-isomer-as component of chlorophyll. It is a faint but very lost lasting aroma chemical, which acts as a fixative component. It is especially used in artificial flower absolutes and light floral compounds. Use level in fragrances up to 10 %.

p-Methylbenzaldehyde R

Floral, fruity, sweet, spicy. Clear colorless to yellowish liquid. Found in rice, tomatoes, hazelnuts, beer and rum. It shows a mild, floral odor like that of bitter almond, which is more pleasant and discrete than that of benzaldehyde, suitable as major component in aromaticcompounds for cosmetic and alcoholic perfumery. Use levels in compositions up to 10 %.

Tetrahydrogeraniol

Fresh, slightly citrus, reminiscent of rose with a mild waxy background. Clear colorless liquid.

Found in citrus oils. Very useful in all kinds of applications. Its outstanding stability makes it an indispensable ingredient for all functional utilizations including detergents. Use level in compounds from traces to 10 %.

Tetrahydrolinalool

Sweet, floral, herby, woody. Clear colorless liquid. It shows a less woody and herbal but more floral character than linalool and especially a better stability. It is extensively used particular at alkali pH values for functional perfumery products. Use level in compounds from 1 to 15 %.
