Pour this liquid into a clean glass, put the glass in the cold, and crystals will form and you have thus the Vitriolum Philosophorum (Vitriol of the Philosophers).
Gather all these crystals and dry them. With these you can put yourself to work: let it turn into a liquor with a steam bath and unite gold with the liquor, close it tightly into a flask, and let it go through all the colors and you will have the Lapis medicines.
Or, when your crystals are dry, take them, put them in a glass vessel, let them dissolve, place on the furnace and make our salt fixed per gradus between the time you change the vessel so that what has sublimated settles back to bottom.
Repeat until everything is fixed. Then extract it with rectified spirit of wine. Remove/decant the extraction, distill again. Put this salt in a cellar and let liquefy to a humid oil, or leave it in the powder form:
take 2 Lots and grind into 1 quintl lime gold (lime gold is gold calx), seal in a flask and let it go through the colors. With the liquor or powder, or you can imbibe & increase as often as you like and you have the Lapis M ineralis of the metals.

Or do like this: make yourself a menstruum, take the sal ammoniac (salmiac) and quicklime in equal quantities, cement them for 4 hours, dissolve again of this coagulated ammonium salt and when it weighs ¾ of a pound add another ½ pound of sal ammoniac (ammonium chloride) and the same amount of quicklime.
Cement it again for 4 hours, and coagulate it again. Cement once again the coagulated salt with quicklime of equal weight. After cementation, leaching, coagulation and solution, leave the oil to fluidify ad lotatem in a cellar. Pour this oil on magnesia reduced into small pieces put it a few days to digest in a flask, the solution becomes grass green. Pour the green solution and add fresh oil until nothing more does not escape. Then pour together all the extractions in a flask, distill a bit of phlegm and put this to rest in a cellar, and will form crystals and you will get a vitriol of grass green color the ancients called the green lion or dragon.
This is the true Vitriol of the Sages, the green living salt, Vitriolum Philosophorum. Dry a little of the salt, crush it finely, mix in a fatty red earth/Bolus Armenicus and form it into small balls, dry them and fill them into a retort, distill a vulgari modo spiritus, you have to cohobate again, and for at least three times, extract from the Caput M ortuum, then separate the phlegm. But it is best if you extract it after the spiritus, you take the Caput Mortum, you extract from it all the salt, you pour over the mounted spiritus, and from this cohobate, and you distil several times the spiritus. However, the above (named above) is not to be thrown away. Then from this separate any phlegm, until at the bottom is deposited a beautiful green oil. Over this oil pour the phlegm with the spiritus, or better: distill first the spiritus from phlegm, pour it on the liquor obtained and extract it a few times in the oil until your oil becomes a thick fluid such as rosin, and thus you have the Chaos of the Ancients. After that, put the rosin in a bottle, seal it tightly and put it in moderate heat. In this way the matter will be resolved in a clear spiritus and a red-brown earth. This is the Spiritus M ercurius Philosophorum or the Dianae Columba. Rectify it a few times, so that from this comes all the phlegm, the phlegm extract from the brown earth and after the calcination of the sulfur residue, dissolve the salt fixus. Then pour the spiritus of sulfur and salt in a flask, seal it and put it into circulation until everything is melted and united. After that, put it in our furnace, and let it pass through all the colors.
When it became a fixed red-brown powder, take this powder, add it to purified gold and put in the heat of fusion to ferment, and you will get a tincture, a grain of it transforms a whole lot of imperfect metal into gold.
3. In addition you should also know: take our materia of which there are two types, one is lunar, the other solar.
The M oon is called M agnesia, it is gray and has every kind of color like the neck of a dove. The other is shining gray like velvet. Both have a heavy weight and are easy to obtain. In the spring, put it at night under the open sky, so that the dew falls on it and the moon and the stars shine, but make sure it does not rain outside. You can also moisten it slightly with the fresh falling dew between midnight and 3AM and then put the matter
to air at night but in the day in a dark & humid place. Then put all your material in a flask, seal it with clay, put it in a warm heat and let it putrefy for 4 weeks in BM then distill off the water of life.
When it ascends, put another glass on and give it the fire, so all the phlegm rises; the latter also goes by itself, thin this way the body remains at the bottom of the flask completely dry like a true poison.
You can also perform such work in a retort, and at the end, give a strong fire, until all the white mist disappears. Then take the matter of the retort, put it back in the air for impregnation and moisten it only slightly with the dew.
After 4 weeks of putrefaction, distill it all, and repeat the same way a third time. Then put your remaining material in a glass retort, pour above all the water of life (spirit), and digest it for a few days.
Then distill again, and this cohobate a couple of times. In the end, give one final high heat, so that
everything ascends. Pour the water of life (the spirit) in a flask, seal it, put it for 4 weeks in a water bath to digest in BM , and distill the water of life (the spirit) in fire at first in a milde heat, and then strong; divide the phlegm that rises. Often correct/rectify the water of life until it becomes entirely sweet and penetrating, and guard it well. Calcine the Caput M ortem remaining above and extract with the phlegm a salt. Calcify this salt through dissolution and coagulation, then add your water of life, enclose it in a vial and digest it in a steam bath until the salt is dissolved, and thus your Liquor Universalis is prepared.
4. Or, after you have cleared the corpus of the spiritus, take this Caput Mortem, carry it into a sublimatory and sublime and that which is to ascend. Put aside these flora after thou hast sublimed alone a few times.
You can even dissolve the moon the same with aqua fortis (silver nitrate), the same deposit with salt water (chloride source) and thus will it to be very ‘sweet’ (silver chloride), then blend in the sublimate, and the sublimate not yet with it, and they will become beautiful. These are the Dianae Columba.
Keep them or unite them to the spiritus and distill off all in cohobation in a retort. Of the Caput M ortum you must extract the sulfur, but there is very little, because much parted in sublimation, so it's not worth the trouble. Pout the phlegm of the Caput M ortuum, and there extract a red, but it is only a small amount. Since he must add nothing foreign to the work, it's better to forget the work and calcine only the Caput Mortum, then extr tcthe salt, clarify and join it to the spiritus, put it in a cold place and let the crystals form.
If no crystals form, add by dropping of the spiritual phlegm, only the amount you think proves sufficient.
Then pour it and it will form crystals, collect them all, put them in a vial, seal it well place it in our secret furnace and let it run until they begin to become fixed, so the Lapis M edicinalis is ready and should be only extracted with very pure rectified spirit of wine, as previously taught.
5. Or, pour your liquor on the salt in a flask, seal it, put it for 4 weeks to digest, and all the salt will dissolve, it will join the Spiritus M ercurii and will become liquid, with this put it to work.
6. You can also take the crystals, and leave them in a flask a long time on a steam bath BM until the crystals have dissolved by themselves, its of the same liquor Universalis, with which you can work. In the fission are the most beautiful colors, by which you must regulate the degrees.
7. You can also take your crystals, grind and when they weight ½ pound, M ix them with ¼ pound of living mercury washed and purified, put them in a heavy glass vessel, shut it up tightly and sublime on a sand bath. What was sublimed in a day, you should return again the next day, until everything has become a red powder. Then take out the powder and with the rectified spirit of wine prepared philosophically, extract it, pour all the extraction, distill to a red salt. Leave to fludify in oil the salt on a glass plate, with the oil you can now work according to the instruction given.
8. You can also pour such oil on fresh mercury and distill cohobate and ascends also the Astrum M ercurii.
However, it is best that you work only with the vitriol and of this make the Lapis M edicinalis and the latter Lapis Universalis.
With respect to the dry, you must proceed as follows: take the magnesia and grind it finely, mix in it for each pound ½ pound of powder of bricks finely ground which should be freshly baked, old bricks have a salt that has nothing to do here, put them in a good sublimatorium of stone, enclose it in an oven and place on it one sublimatorium condenser. Then start to give a fire for 48 hours per gradus to last 12 hours you have to give a strong fire. Change often the condenser, so that when you take away full with flowers, you put on another, and continue until everything is ascended. When no more flowers rise, stop the fire, put all the flowers together in a flask, and then sublime themselves several times. Towards the end, you can add lime Silver (Luna cornea) and thus sublimate another 2 times, so thus is formed beautiful flowers, and you will get a very nice way to the Columbae Dianae. Keep them well. Calcine the Caput M ortuum until it becomes a gray powder & red-brown powder (because bricks are in it), pour distilled water over it and extract all the salt. Purify the salt, we will then take this 4 Lot or parts by weight and 2 lot or parts of the Columbae Dianae, grind them together and then let it go through the colors. With the dove you can increase the work. Or, do like this: Take the salt and grind it with lime gold, and then add only Columbae Dianae and leave both to pass through all the colors.
9. You can also prepare this way: if you want to extract the salt, you can achieve with wine vinegar. Use distilled vinegar and salt with distilled rain water to clarify. Then take the fresh material, 1/2 pound is enough, and calcine it.
In the calcination, watch it thin. Now when it becomes a gray ash, take this 4 lots and 8 lots of your salt and let them dissolve (melt) in a crucible to a glassy mass. Of the Vitrum take this 4 lots and the 8 lots columba Dianae, grind together, put them in a resistant flask, seal it, put it in the sand and give a per gradus fire until everything is fixed and becomes a mass. Then remove it, grind it finely, grind with 4 lots of columba, put it back into a vial and proceed as before. Continue this until all your Columbae Dianae is used, and you will have the Lapis M edicinalis Fixum. If from there you want to get the Lapis Universalis, melt with gold and put on 4 lots of Lapis on a lot of gold, let them flux well into a good fluid so that it will become a mass of red glass. Thereof with this you can transform other metals into gold.
In Summation: you can, with the M agnesia and with the Liquor Universalis, lead to the
