Janis A. Emmanouilidis is the European Policy Centre's Director of Studies. He has
published widely on the EU's overall political and institutional development, and has been an advisor of various governments, EU institutions, European parties and NGOs on a broad range of issues related to European integration. At present he is also Research Associate at ELIAMEP and EU Institutional Development Advisor of the Polish think-tank demosEUROPA – Centre for European Strategy. Janis has studied international relations in the UK, as well as economics at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.
Fabian Zuleeg is Chief Executive of the European Policy Centre, providing strategic
direction, managing its staff and resources, and representing the EPC. He is also Chief Economist, a post he has held since January 2010. Fabian holds a PhD in the political economy of EU accession from Edinburgh University. Before coming to the EPC he worked as an economic analyst in academia, the public and the private sector. He is currently Honorary Fellow at the Europa Institute of the University of Edinburgh and Honorary Professor at Heriot Watt University, as well as a member of the Scottish government's Standing Council on Europe.
