Zi Ran Huan Qi Fa is the walking practice, exchanging Qi with Nature, and can be practiced when you are walking. In this section the practitioner compresses and expands his Qi and regulates breathing and body movements to exchange Qi and Xin Ling of information of soul with the natural universe until he or she unites body and nature and they become one. The method for exchanging Qi with Nature was created by Master Lu, Dongbin about thirteen hundred years ago. It is part of Ling Bao Tong Zhi Neng Nei Gong Shu and teaches the practices of body movement, regulating breathing, regulating the body's vital energy Qi with Heart spirit Shen, and includes the Yi and Nian exchange between Nature and soul of Ling of connection, as well as balance, combining different elements and realignment, which establishes movement within the body and mind to create brightening and to strengthen the Ling of soul.

Exchanging Qi with Nature has three sections and nine techniques.

1. Healing and health, longevity and enjoyment. (1) Walking and breathing.

(2) Walking and holding your breath. (3) Walking and receiving vital substance.

2. Dissolving the body brings the practitioner to Nature and increases longevity.

(1) Walking expels substance. (2) Walking creates Qi field.

3. Jin of longitude and Wei of latitude are exchanged and Heaven and the practitioner are combined.

(1) Walking through channel and closing the door. (2) Walking delivers soul of Ling.

(3) Walking while is invisible.

There are three types of vision: The first is the normal vision that we all share. The second is a practitioner opens his eyes and looks into the distance, as far as he can, using the vision in his right eye. The third is the practitioner closes his eyes and looks as far as is possible for him, using his Shen Gang (mind and light).

Introduction to the first steps: 1. Three steps walking.

Relax the whole body, open the eyes and look straight ahead. With the mind and eyes, focus as far as you can into the practitioner's gaze, let the Shen Guang (mind and light) from the practitioner's gaze travels back in front of the eyes and close the eyes for a while; open the eyes, start to inhale, the concentrated Yi and Nian the Qi from the natural universe enters the body through the pores while you are taking three steps; exhale and take three steps while the Yi and Nian from * the whole body pores pour back into the natural universe. Repeat this pattern while continuing to walk and while you are walking imagine you are in the center of surrounding ball. The smallest size of the ball is of a ball whose circumference, surrounding you is at an arm's length from your body. The largest size of this ball is as big as all of nature. Inhale and bring the natural Qi from the edge of the ball to press into the pores and exhale the body's Qi through the pores back to the edge of the natural ball as you are walking.

If you want to emphasize helping the Liver and Gall Gladder, lead with the right foot; if you want to emphasize helping the Spleen and Stomach, leaci with the left foot. You may use this image of being surrounded by a ball for all of the Zi Ran Huan Qi Fa.

2. Six steps walking.

Relax the whole body, open the eyes and look straight forward as far as you can, let the Shen Guang return to the front of the eyes and close the eyes for a while, open the eyes and start to inhale, bringing the concentrated Yi and Nian from universal through the pores and into the body while walking six steps. Exhale and walk another six steps while the Yi and Nian from the body pores pour back to the natural universe. Keep walking using the same pattern.

Image yourself in the center of the ball and inhale the natural Qi from the edge of the ball into the body. Exhale and push the Qi back to the edge of the ball.

If a patient has Liver and Gall Bladder, Spleen and Stomach weakness and menopause syndrome, combine this practice with San Xian Gong.

3. Hold your breath for three steps.

Relax the whole body; open the eyes look straight forward as far as you can. Let the Shen Guang come back in front of the eyes and close the eyes for a while, open the eyes, start to inhale, the Yi and Nian guide the Qi from the universe into your body through the pores while taking three steps, holding your breath while walking three steps, the Yi and Nian in the body as whole small universe.

4. Holding your breath for six steps.

Relax the whole body, open your eyes and look straight forward as far as you can. Let the Shen Guang travel back to the front of the eyes and close them for a while, open the eyes, start to inhale, the Yi and Nian guide the natural universe's Qi moves through the pores into the body. Hold your breath and take six steps, the Yi and Nian picture in the body as a small whole universe and exhale; walk six more steps while the Yi and Nian guide the Qi from the pores of the whole body send back to the natural universe. Keep walking in the same

pattern. Use your mind to place yourself in the center of the ball while you inhale the natural Qi from the edge of the ball into the body and exhale the Qi back to the edge of the ball. 5. Holding your breath for twelve or twenty four steps. Relax the whole body, open your eyes and look straight

forward as far as you can, let the Shen Guang come back up to the front of your eyes. Close them briefly then open them and start to inhale; the Yi and Nian move the Qi from the universe into your body through your pores while you take twelve or twenty four steps.

Hold your breath while walking another twelve or twenty four steps, the Yi and Nian picture in the body as a small whole universe and exhale; walk another twelve or twenty four steps while the Yi and Nian from the body's internal Qi is

pushed out through the pores back to the universe.

Keep going walking the same pattern. Picture yourself in the center of a ball; inhale the natural Qi from the edge of the ball into the body and exhale, pushing the Qi back to the edge of the ball.
