5.2 Recomendaciones y futuros trabajos
Para futuras investigaciones en las baterías de flujo redox de vanadio, se recomienda:
El estudio del flujo para estos sistemas, evaluando la relación entre el estado de carga y la velocidad de flujo, logrando un desempeño alto en los procesos de operación.
Experimentar con un rango de concentraciones superiores a los electrolitos propuesto en esta tesis (0,5M VOSO4 en 3M H2SO4), evaluando la conductividad y solubilidad de los electrolitos, para aumentar las densidades de potencia y reducir el volumen y el peso de las baterías y por ende la disminución del costo por kW de las VRFB, con el fin de comprimir costos de instalación y funcionamiento.
Modificar térmicamente los electrodos de grafito extruidos de la National Trade Mark y evaluar su desempeño, para terminar si esta modificación mejora la conductividad de los mismos.
Realizar las caracterizaciones físicas, químicas y electroquímicas a los electrodos de grafito extruidos de la National Trade Mark con y sin tratamientos térmicos para tener criterios de comparación en los cambios cristalográficos y/o cambios en sus orbitales atómicos.
Continuar con la selección de electrodos diferentes del grafito, esperando mejores resultados en los procesos de transporte de carga eléctrica.Bibliografía
