Meaning:
Mercury will not kill those born under Leo lagna. Saturn and Venus are the only two marakas. Since other planets do not get maraka powers they will not kill.Mars on account of Badhaka place lord may kill but will do so only if conjoined with another maraka.
Saturn due to ownership of the 6th and 7th is likely to inflict death.
Venus getting the ownership of the 3rd house of maraka may end the life. Mercury being the owner of the 2nd house of maraka will also kill.
Jupiter being the owner of the 8th house which is a special maraka place for fixed rasi can also become a maraka.

1. Mercury if placed in trikonas will yield auspicious results. Other placements are not good.
2. If Sun, Mars and Mercury conjoin it will be Dhanayoga.
3. Sun, Mercury and Jupiter conjunction will give rise to a dhanayoga. 4. If Sun and Mercury conjoin beneficial results may follow.
5. Owner of the 3rd and 10th house Venus will do good if placed in the 3rd house but not so in the 10th house.
6. If Mars and Saturn are conjoined and placed in the 12th house, Saturn dasa will be a yoga dasa.
7. If Mars, Mercury and Jupiter are placed in Lagna Yoga.
8. Venus placed in the own house of 3rd and the 4th lord Mars if placed in the 10th house yoga will be there.
9. If Mars and Venus conjoin Dharma Karmadhipati yoga results. If Jupiter also joins them, Dharma Karmadhipati yoga will get strengthened.
10. When Sun, Mercury, Mars and Venus are all joined together and placed in any of the Kendra 1st, 4th, 7th or 10th there will be progress in politics.
11. When the 7th lord Saturn is placed in his own house and the 9th lord Mars placed in his own house and Venus is in the 3rd in his own house it will give Rajayoga.
12. When the Lagna lord is exalted and along with him the 5th lord Jupiter, 9th lord Mars and 10th lord Venus are placed it will be a great Rajayoga.
13. Beginning from Lagna if planets are placed in all Kendras it will be a Rajayoga. 14. If Sun and Venus are placed in the 10th house, inheritance from father is possible. 15. If there is exchange of houses between Lagna lord and lord of 2nd house, higher will
be the wealth.
16. When the lord of the 11th house of gains, Mercury, is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th or 10th house, much will be the gains.
17. If Mars is in the Lagna and Sun is in the 11th house of gains, there will be Rajayoga. 18. When the 9th lord Mars and the 10th lord Venus both are exalted and Lagna lord is
also exalted and also conjoined with the lord of the 2nd and 11th house Mercury, there will be Dhanayoga.

19. If the Lagna lord is placed in the 11th house and the 11th lord is placed in the 10th house along with Venus there will be Rajayoga.
20. Lord of the 6th and the 7th house Saturn, if placed in the 10th house Rajayoga.
21. Sun in Leo, Mercury in Virgo, Jupiter in Pisces – all in their own houses it will be a Lakshmi-Saraswathi yoga.
22. Yoga will result if mars is in Leo and Rahu is in Gemini.
