AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND CHILD CARE TASK FORCE

Notice is hereby given of the following

Regular Meeting of the Affordable Housing and Child Care Taskforce June 28th, 2021

which convenes at 11:00am Via Zoom

Call to order.

1. MOTION to Add or Delete Items from the Agenda.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES

2. MOTION to adopt the minutes of the previous meeting.

EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC 4. MOTION:

THAT pursuant to Section 90 of the Community Charter, members of the public be excluded from the Closed Meeting of the Task Force immediately following the Regular Meeting of the Task Force on the basis that the subject matter of all agenda items to be considered relate to matters listed under Sections 90(1)(i), 90(1)(k) and 90(2)(b) of the Community Charter:

(i) the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose;

(k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public;

(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party;

Purpose of the meeting:

Legal, services and negotiations matters.

ADJOURNMENT

THAT the minutes of the regular meeting of the Task Force on Affordable Housing and Child Care of Monday, April 19, 2021 be adopted.

CARRIED All members of the Task Force present voted in favour of the motion.

All members of the Task Force present voted in favour of the motion.

The meeting was adjourned to Closed meeting at 11:02 a.m.
