Founded i n 1973, the Uni versi t y of Not re Dame Li t urgi cal Choi r i s one of the preem i nent m usi cal ensem bl es of the Rom an Cathol i c Church i n the Uni ted States, and i s the prem i er col l egi ate Cathol i c choral group i n the country. La Navi dad es l a cel ebraci ón del deseo de Di os a estar en contacto con nosotros al hacerse uno de nosotros. La presenci a de Di os a través de Jesús cam bi o el m undo para si em pre. Establ eci do en el año 1973, el Coro Li túrgi co de l a Uni versi dad de Notre Dam e es uno de los conjuntos m usi cal es preem i nentes de l a Igl esi a Catól i ca Rom ana en los Estados Uni dos y es el pri m er grupo coral catól i co col egi al en el país. El coro se com pone de aproxi m adam ente sesenta estudi antes y estudi antes ya graduados. Adem ás de cantar cada sem ana en l a Basíl i ca, el Coro tam bi én ti ene un ri guroso program a de contrataci ones durante el año académ i co, i ncl uyendo bodas, ordenaci ones, dedi catori as y num erosas l i turgi as durante Sem ana Santa. El Coro tam bi én cuenta con una gi ra extensi va en los Estados Uni dos y Europa, l l evando l a m úsi ca de l a Igl esi a Catól i ca a sus raíces.

El Coro Li túrgi co de l a Uni versi dad de Notre Dam e estará cantando en el Condado de Orange por tres días en enero.
