Tengo mis selecciones preliminares aquí donde usaremos los números y datos de Thorograph (TG) como criterio principal para nuestro análisis.
Carrera 1 5 – 2 – 9
#5 Crew Dragon - Felicitaciones al jinete Joe Bravo ya que fue nombrado finalista para el prestigioso George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award para 2022. Esperemos que las felicitaciones también se dirijan a su camino después de esta carrera por
ganarla. Es uno de los muchos aquí que podrían ganar esta carrera sobre el
complicado curso de descenso. #2 Eastern Ocean – Es un perfecto 1 por 1 en este curso. Tiene algunos de los mejores números de TG en la carrera y es un fuerte contendiente. #9 Exultation – Ha terminado en la exacta en sus últimas 7
carreras. Ultra consistente y muy peligroso. Usa tantos como puedas en el pick 5.
Carrera 2 1 – 10 – 6
#1 She’s Bulletproof – En un campo donde los que tienen experiencia no han impresionado, vamos con un principiante. Esta llama la atención de Johnny V y eso podría ser revelador. Ella ha estado trabajando bien y ninguna otra está mejor criada para el césped que esta señorita. #10 Copper Bo Ten - Ella también está muy bien criada para el césped y ha estado trabajando bien en las mañanas previas a su debut hoy. #6 Madiha – Se ve mejor de las que han corrido.
Carrera 3 1 – 4 – 2
#1 Edgeway – Dos aquí parecen elevarse sobre el resto. Esta yegua tiene recencia, clase y maravillosos números de TG. También esta trabajo balas por la mañana y parece estar alerta y lista para una actuación superior aquí en esta edición del Kalookan Queen. #4 Merneith – Impresiono ganando el Santa Mónica.
Pero tuvo que tomar un respiro después de eso y podría no estar 100% preparado para el regreso a las carreras. Uno de estos dos debería ganar. #2 Queengol – Alguien tiene que correr tercero.

Es un entrenador superior que sobresale con ejemplares bajando de clase como este. Atropellando para la victoria para este Maestro. #4 Busy Paynter - Esta yegua es rápida como un rayo y también tiene un toque de clase. Tendrá que evitar el duelo de velocidad que parece estar a la vista. #6 It’s a Riddle - Este es
uno de los que también posee gran velocidad temprana. La forma de la carrera no se configura bien para los corredores de punta, pero son casi todos excepto el Maestro. Puede hacer la tri.
Carrera 6 3 – 7 – 4
#3 Secret Club – ¡Esta es una excelente carrera de apuestas, ya que dibuja un campo grande y uno puede defender aproximadamente 9 de ellos aquí! Comienza el pick 5 y el favorito probablemente estará en el rango de 4-1. Mucho valor que se puede tener aquí. Este es uno de esos ejemplares de Miller que ahora está en las manos capaces de Rubén Alvarado. Carrera 7 6 – 2 – 1 Mejor Apuesta del Día!
#6 Lonely On Top – Muchos aspectos positivos en el rincón de esta. Ella recibe lasix por primera vez, tiene un entrenador estelar, se reúne con Cedillo, toma la mayor caída en el juego de MSW a MCL, y mucho más. También tiene los mejores números de TG en el campo. Ella no solo es la ganadora más probable de la
carrera, sino que creo que la ganadora más probable del día y la promocionará como mi mejor apuesta del día. #2 Head Start – Esta parece el mayor peligro para la primera selección. Tiene buena velocidad temprana y un toque de clase. No está de más tener a Prat asignado a montar. #1 Midnight's Girl – No creo que la última carrera fuera indicativa de su talento. Cuidado con ella a un gran precio.
Carrera 8 6 – 5 – 3
#6 Bellabel – El Sultán de Césped parece tener todos los ases en esta carrera. Phil sobresale con sus corredores haciendo su debut en Estados Unidos. Esta venció a un campo de 18 en su última carrera en Irlanda. Será dura con el líder del jock Prat a bordo. #5 Helens Well - Ganó su primera carrera en los Estados Unidos para Phil y ha corrido muchas carreras sólidas desde entonces. Su doblete será difícil de noquear hoy. #3 Fuente Ovejuna – Invade desde GB y aterriza en la fuerte cuadra de Powell.
Carrera 9 3 – 4 – 2
#3 American Theorem – Esa fue una carrera revolucionaria para este tipo la última vez. Una repetición lo pondrá justo en el círculo del ganador. #4 Divine Armor - El currículum general es excelente. Una amenaza real. #2 Shooters Shoot – Prat y Eurton son un dúo poderoso.
Carrera 10 4 – 3 – 5
#4 Maglev – Este invasor de GB seguro que tiene el aspecto de un potro talentoso.
Ese trabajo del 27 fue brillante. Podría ser justo lo que el "Doctor Hennessy" ordenó aquí en el Eddie Logan. #3 Cabo Spirit - Las 3 carreras de hierba fueron
demasiado buenas para ignorarlas. Una amenaza real. #5 Handy Dandy – Buscando dos seguidas. Parece que le encanta la hierba.

I have my preliminary selections here where we will use Thorograph (TG) Numbers and Data as the main criterion for our analysis.
Race 1 5 – 2 - 9
#5 Crew Dragon – Congratulations go out to jockey Joe Bravo as he was named a finalist for the prestigious George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award for 2022. Hopefully congratulations will also head his way after this race for winning it. He is one of many in here that could win this race over the tricky downhill course. #2 Eastern Ocean – He is a perfect 1 for 1 over this course. He holds some of the best TG numbers in the race and is a stout contender. #9 Exultation – Has been in the exacta in his last 7 races. Ultra-consistent and very dangerous. Use as many as you can in the early pick 5 as this is a highly contentious race.
Race 2 1 – 10 - 6
#1 She’s Bulletproof – In a field where the ones with experience have not impressed, let’s go with a first-time starter. This firster draws the attention of Johnny V and that could be telling. She has been working well and no other runner is better bred for the turf than this miss. #10 Copper Bo Ten – She is also very well bred for the turf and has been working OK in the mornings leading up to her debut today. #6 Madiha – Looks best of the ones that have run.
Race 3 1 – 4 – 2
#1 Edgeway – Two in here seem to tower over the rest of them. This mare rates the edge having recency, class and wonderful TG numbers. She also has ben working bullets in the morning and seems to be on her toes and ready for a top performance here in this edition of the Kalookan Queen. #4 Merneith – Impressed winning the Santa Monica. But had to go on a respite after that and might not be 100% cranked up for the return to the races. One of these two should win. #2 Queengol – Someone has to run third.
Race 4 2 – 8 – 1
#2 That’s Amare – This one is trained by the Sultan of Sod, Phil D’Amato. This mare has some of the best TG numbers in the race. She hasn’t raced since April but when her form hits your eye like a big winning pie, That’s Amare! #8 Taming the Tigress – She doesn’t have the class of Amare but has been earning some strong TG numbers. She returns to a turf sprint and last time she ran one of these she ran a very good second. #1 Va Va Voom – I am going to round out my selections with this speedster from the barn of Antonio Garcia.
Race 5 1 – 4 – 6
#1 Tiz a Master – This race is loaded with speed. The most logical one to take advantage of any kind of speed duel is this class dropper from the Vlado Cerin barn.
He is a top trainer that excels with droppers like this. From off the pace for the win
for this Master. #4 Busy Paynter – This mare is lightning quick early and also has a touch of class. She will have to try to avoid the speed duel that seems to be in the offing. #6 It’s a Riddle – This is one of the ones that also possesses big time early speed. The race shape does not set up well for the front runners, but they are almost all front runners except for the Master. Can make the tri.
Race 6 3 – 7 - 4
#3 Secret Club – This is a terrific betting race as it draws a large field and one can make a case for about 9 of them here! It starts the late pick 5 and the favorite will probably be in the 4-1 range. Plenty of value to be had here. This one is one of those Miller trainee’s that is now in the capable hands of Ruben Alvarado. Hall of Famer Johnny V is just one of the many positives in his corner. #7 Ottawa Fire – This gelding has some of the best TG numbers in the race and was just recently claimed by Hess. He won his last and could make it two in a row with a good trip under top turf rider Rispoli. #4 K P All Systems Go – Jeff Metz just claimed this talented guy for $40K. Jeff celebrated a birthday a few days ago (December 28) and this could be one of his belated birthday presents if he wins.
Race 7 6 – 2 – 1 Best Bet of the Day!
#6 Lonely On Top – Many positives in this one’s corner. She gets lasix for the first time, has a stellar trainer, gets reunited with Cedillo, takes the biggest drop in the game from MSW to MCL, and much more. She also has the best TG numbers in the field. Numbers that will surely improve with all the previous positive changes and additions that I just outlined. She is not only the most likely winner of the race, but I think the most likely winner of the day and will tout her as my best bet of the day.
#2 Head Start – This one looks like the biggest danger to the top pick. She has good early speed and a touch of class. Doesn’t hurt to have Prat assigned to ride.
#1 Midnight’s Girl – I don’t think that last race was indicative of her talent. Watch out for her at a big price.
Race 8 6 – 5 – 3
#6 Bellabel – The Sultan of Sod seems to hold all the aces in this race. Phil excels with his runners making their US debut. This one beat a field of 18 in her last race over in Oreland. She will be tough with leading jock Prat aboard. #5 Helens Well – She won her first race in the US for Phil and has run many solid races since. His one-two punch will be hard to knock out today. #3 Fuente Ovejuna – Invades from GB and lands in the strong Powell barn. This one’s name in English is the Sheep’s Well. So, I am going with a ‘bel and a couple of Wells!
Race 9 3 – 4 – 2
#3 American Theorem – That was a breakthrough race for this guy last time out.
A repeat will put him right in the winner’s circle. #4 Divine Armor – Overall resume is excellent. A real threat. #2 Shooters Shoot – Prat and Eurton are a powerful duo.
Race 10 4 – 3 – 5
#4 Maglev – This GB invader sure has the look of a talented young colt. That
workout on the 27th was brilliant. Could be just what the “Doctor Hennessy” ordered
here in the Eddie Logan. #3 Cabo Spirit – All 3 grass races were too good to ignore. A real threat. #5 Handy Dandy – Looking for two in a row. Really took to the grass.
