During this period, classes will begin as usual at 7:30 a.m. and will end at 12:45 p.m. Students must go home once this schedule is completed. Students are not permitted to remain in areas around the school after they have completed their exams.

I. ENGLISH LANGUAGE: 9TH GRADE EFL
Reading. Candidates read a text and answer a series of questions testing detailed comprehension .
Write a Letter. Follow the instructions for the letter. Use each of the 3 bullets equally and follow the way the test says to address your letter. You should base your ideas on what you have read in the passage, but do not copy from it.
You should write between 1 and 1½ sides, allowing for the size of your handwriting.
Up to 10 marks are available for the content of your answer, and up to 10 marks for the quality of your writing.
Exercise 7 (Core tier) Composition
Write about two sides, allowing for the size of your handwriting, on one of the following questions.
Up to 13 marks are available for the content and structure of your answer, and up to 12 marks for the style and accuracy of your writing.
Choose between:
o Argumentative/Discursive Writing o Descriptive Writing
o Narrative Writing
