FROM THE PAROCHIAL VICAR HELLO!
Tears-The dew drops which fall from heaven One of God’s most blessed gifts is tears.
They are often considered as words the heart can’t express And the noble language of the soul.
Tears are our holy balm and seeds of hope.
They heal us as they flow down our cheeks And move up toward heaven.
Pope Francis tells us, "tears are the lenses we need to see Jesus And the pathways to the heart of God."
Every tear we shed is precious to Him
And not one single tear is missed by our Father in heaven.
Tears bring us close to the divine mysteries
And inspire us to pray for everything: for what is good, For our sins and for graces.
The saints of the Church always had the highest regard For tears, the dew drops from heaven.
Saint Gregory of Nyssa states, “Tears are like blood in the wounds of the soul,”
And Ephrem the Syrian says that ‘’a face streaming with tears is indescribably beautiful.’’
They thought of tears as sacraments of love and the holy fire to melt our frozen hearts.
Yes. Tears are indeed a sacred gift.
May Our Lady of immaculate tears increase the Love in our hearts, By giving us the gift of tears for God, for our sisters and brothers And the world we live in.

Lágrimas-Las gotas de rocío que caen del cielo
Uno de los dones más benditos de Dios son las lágrimas.
A menudo se consideran palabras que el corazón no puede expresar.
Y el noble lenguaje del alma.
Las lágrimas son nuestro bálsamo sagrado y semillas de esperanza.
Nos curan mientras fluyen por nuestras mejillas Y suben hacia el cielo.
El Papa Francisco nos dice, "las lágrimas son los lentes que necesitamos para ver a Jesús y los caminos al corazón de Dios".
Cada lágrima que derramamos es preciosa para Él
Y ni una sola lágrima se pierde por nuestro Padre en el cielo.
Las lágrimas nos acercan a los misterios divinos e inspíranos a orar por todo: por lo que es bueno, por nuestros pecados y por las gracias.
Los santos de la Iglesia siempre tuvieron la más alta estima Por lágrimas, el rocío cae del cielo.
San Gregorio de Nyssa afirma: “Las lágrimas son como sangre en las heridas del alma”, y Ephrem el sirio dice que “un rostro bañado en lágrimas es indescriptiblemente hermoso”.
Pensaron en las lágrimas como sacramentos de amor y fuego sagrado para derretir nuestros corazones helados.
Sí. Las lágrimas son de hecho un regalo sagrado.
Que Nuestra Señora de las lágrimas inmaculadas aumente el Amor en nuestros corazones, Dándonos el don de las lágrimas por Dios, por nuestras hermanas y hermanos
Y el mundo en que vivimos.
