Let us “Easter” every moment of our lives in the light of Christ   The Easter season is a time to remember

The sacrificial and steadfast love of Jesus.

It’s a time that reminds us

That God's new world has been unveiled in Jesus Christ And that we are now invited to belong to it.

It’s the ultimate time of hope and renewal.

It’s also an occasion that invites us to pray with the Jesuit poet Gerard Manley Hopkins,

‘Lord, Easter in us,

Be a dayspring to the dimness of us.’

Because Easter is not for Christ alone but also for us, His friends.

It should be the divine reality we think and feel and live

Because resurrection is at the core of our beliefs as Christians.

Without it, our faith is meaningless.

May this season of Easter

Help us dare to pray and live this prayer by an unknown author.

‘Draw us forth, God of all creation.

Draw us forward and away from limited certainty Into the immense world of your love.

Give us the capacity to even for a moment, Taste the richness of the feast you give us.

Give us the peace to live with uncertainty, With questions,

With doubts.

Help us to experience the resurrection anew With open wonder and an increasing ability To see you in the people of Easter.

Hagamos “Pascua” cada momento de nuestra vida a la luz de Cristo

  La temporada de Pascua es un tiempo para recordar el amor sacrificado y constante de Jesús.

Es un tiempo que nos recuerda que el nuevo mundo de Dios ha sido revelado en Jesucristo

y que ahora estamos invitados a pertenecer a ella. Es el último momento de esperanza y renovación.

  Es también una ocasión que nos invita a orar con el poeta jesuita Gerard Manley Hopkins,

“Señor, Pascua en nosotros, sé una aurora para la oscuridad de nosotros”.

  Porque la Pascua no es sólo para Cristo sino también para nosotros, sus amigos. Debería ser la realidad divina que pensamos, sentimos y vivimos. Porque la resurrección está en el centro de nuestras creencias como cristianos. Sin ella, nuestra fe no tiene sentido.

  En este tiempo de Pascua, ayúdanos a atrevernos a orar y vivir esta oración de autor desconocido.

  “Sácanos, Dios de toda la creación.

  Llévanos hacia adelante y lejos de la certeza limitada en el inmenso mundo de tu amor.
