PLEASE……… Encourage your parents (only those with IEP) to complete the survey on line. WE only have 19 parents who have responded. This is terrible with 3000 students. Write on the flyer the name of your school, parents may not know the official name and they need it for the drop down. Make your computer in the classroom available or see if they can use computer in the Parent Resource Center. Let’s GOJ

ESE Parent Survey a record success
Each year, the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) surveys parents of children with an individual educational plan (IEP) to determine how well your child’s school is partnering with you and promoting your involvement in your child’s education. All states must collect this data as part of their State Performance Plan, as required under the Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA).
The web-based survey will open February 1, 2014.
You can complete the survey online at http://www.esesurvey.com
or request a paper survey from Keisha Robinson at 305-626-3970.
Your feedback is important in helping the state and local school systems continue improving educational programs for children with special needs. Thank you!

Cada año, el Departamento de Educación de la Florida (FDOE, por sus siglas en inglés) hace encuestas a los padres de los estudiantes que tienen un Plan de Educación Individual (IEP, por sus siglas en inglés) a fin de determinar en qué medida la escuela apoya y fomenta su
participación en la educación de sus hijos. Todos los estados deben recopilar esta información que forma parte del State Performance Plan, según lo dispuesto en Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA).
La encuesta que se hace en la Internet comienza el 1º de febrero del 2014.
Puede llenar la encuesta en línea en http://www.esesurvey.com o puede comunicarse con Keisha Robinson al 305-626-3970 para solicitar el formulario de la encuesta en papel.
Sus comentarios son importantes para ayudar a que el estado y los sistemas escolares
locales continúen mejorando los programas educativos para niños con necesidades especiales.
