A special devotion began to spread throughout the whole world from the diary of a Young Polish nun in 1930. The message is nothing new, but it reminds us of what the Church has always taught through the sacred Scriptures and tradition: that God is merciful and forgiving and that we must also be merciful and we must forgive. But in devotion to Divine Mercy This message takes a powerful approach that calls people to a deeper understanding of God's unlimited love and the availability of this love to all — espe-cially the most sinful. The message and devotion to Jesus as the Divine Mercy is based on the writings of the Holy Mary Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun without basic education who, in obedience to her spiritual director, wrote a diary of about 600 pages that re-late the Revelations which she received upon the mercy of God. Even before his death in 1938, devotion to Divine Mercy began to spread.
The message of Mercy is that God loves us — all — no mat-ter how great our faults are. He wants us to recognize that his mer-cy is greater than our sins, so that we may come to him with confi-dence, that we may receive his mercy and let it pour out upon oth-ers. So that we all partake of his joy. It is a message that we can re-member as easily as an ABC.
A. Ask for his mercy. God wants us to come to him through constant prayer, repenting of our sins and asking him to pour out his mercy on us and on the whole world
B. Be merciful — God wants us to receive his mercy and that by means of we are poured out upon others
C. Trust Jesus completely — God lets us know that the grac-es of his mercy depend on our trust. The more we trust in Jgrac-esus, the more we will receive.

REFLEXIÓN DEL PASTOR
Una devoción especial se comenzó a esparcir por el mundo entero a partir del diario de una joven monja polaca en 1930. El mensaje no es nada nuevo, pero nos recuerda lo que la Iglesia siem-pre ha enseñado por medio de las Sagradas Escrituras y la tradi-ción: que Dios es misericordioso y que perdona y que nosotros tam-bién debemos ser misericordiosos y debemos perdonar. Pero en la devoción a la Divina Misericordia este mensaje toma un enfoque poderoso que llama a las personas a un entendimiento más profun-do sobre el Amor ilimitaprofun-do de Dios y la disponibilidad de este Amor a todos – especialmente a los más pecadores. El mensaje y la devo-ción a Jesús como la Divina Misericordia esta basada en los escritos de la Santa María Faustina Kowalska, una monja polaca sin educa-ción básica que, en obediencia a su director espiritual, escribió un diario de alrededor de 600 páginas que relatan las revelaciones que ella recibió sobre la Misericordia de Dios. Aún antes de su muerte en 1938 se comenzó a esparcir la devoción a la Divina Misericordia.
El mensaje de Misericordia es que Dios nos Ama – a todos- no importa cuan grande sean nuestras faltas. Él quiere que reconoz-camos que Su Misericordia es más grande que nuestros pecados, para que nos acerquemos a Él con confianza, para que recibamos su Misericordia y la dejemos derramar sobre otros. De tal manera de que todos participemos de Su Gozo. Es un mensaje que podemos recordar tan fácilmente como un ABC.
A. Pide su Misericordia. Dios quiere que nos acerquemos a Él por medio de la oración constante, arrepentidos de nuestros pe-cados y pidiéndole que derrame Su Misericordia sobre nosotros y
sobre el mundo entero
B. Sé misericordioso – Dios quiere que recibamos Su Mise-ricordia y que por medio de nosotros se derrame sobre los demás.
C. Confía completamente en Jesús – Dios nos deja saber que las gracias de su Misericordia dependen de nuestra confianza. Mientras más confiemos en Jesús, más recibiremos.
