Normas básicas de montaje de chimeneas

Basic Chimney Assembly guidelines

Su chimenea estará correctamente montada si queda según la siguiente ﬁ gura y se tienen en cuenta además los siguientes puntos:

● No exceder la distancia marcada entre soportes y asegurarse de que la ﬁ jación de los mismos al ediﬁ cio sea correcta.

● En cubiertas con inclinación < 20º la chimenea debe subir por encima de la cumbrera. (Ver ﬁ g.1)

● En cubiertas con inclinación > 20º, debe cumplirse uno de los supuestos indicados en las ﬁ guras 2 y 3.

● En cubiertas o tejados con obstáculos debe cumplirse al menos una de las condiciones señaladas en la ﬁ gura 4.

●_{Cuando hay obstáculos exteriores al}

ediﬁ cio donde la chimenea va instalada, debe elevarse la boca de descarga según lo indicado en la ﬁ g. 5.

● Si existen ventanas o aberturas en el mismo tejado donde va montada la chimenea, esta deberá elevarse un metro por encima y además respetar las distancias indicadas en la ﬁ gura 6.

Your chimney will be correctly assembled if it matches the following diagram and the following instructions are taken into account:

■ Do not exceed the speciﬁ ed distance between supports and make sure the supports are correctly fastened to the building.

■ For roof pitches of < 20º, the chimney must extend beyond the ridgepole (see ﬁ g.1)

■_{For roof pitches of > 20º, one of the} conditions indicated in ﬁ gures 2 and 3 must be fulﬁ lled.

■ On roofs with obstacles, at least one of the conditions indicted in ﬁ gure 4 must be fulﬁ lled.

■ When there are obstacles external to the building where the chimney is installed, the spout must be raised as indicated in ﬁ g. 5.

■ If there are windows or openings in the roof where the chimney is installed, the chimney must be raised one metre above them and the distances indicated in ﬁ gure 6 must also be observed.

En realidad es más sencillo de lo que en principio pueda parecer, basta ﬁ jarse en la designación de la chimenea que va a adquirir y comprobar que cumple los requerimientos que la norma UNE 123001 establece para el tipo de generador en el que se va a instalar.

It is actually easier than it may seem at ﬁ rst. All you need to do is check the designation of the chimney you are going to buy and make sure it meets the requirements that the UNE 123001 standard establishes for type of boiler it is going to be installed in.

Ayudándose de las páginas de esta tarifa, en las cuales indicamos:

- la designación de cada uno de los modelos de chimenea que presentamos. - el tipo de generador para el que es adecuado,

- la ubicación correcta.

¿Y qué es el marcado CE y la designación para chimeneas modulares?

And what is the CE mark and designation for modular chimneys?

Para obtener el certiﬁ cado de marcado CE, (requisito indispensable para la comercialización e instalación de este producto) la norma establece los mínimos de calidad que la chimenea debe tener, mediante unos ensayos que se realizan en un laboratorio autorizado. Además de garantizar que la chimenea cumple los mínimos exigidos para obtener el marcado CE, los ensayos determinan las

características más importantes de las chimeneas cómo: nivel de estanqueidad, temperatura, resistencia a los condensados, etc. En la designación de cada chimenea están detalladas sus características.

To obtain the CE mark certiﬁ cate (essential requirement for the marketing and installation of this product), the standard establishes certain minimum quality requirements that the chimney must fulﬁ l. To determine whether it meets these requirements, a series of tests are carried out in an authorized laboratory. Besides guaranteeing that the chimney meets the minimum requirements to obtain the CE mark, the tests determine the most important characteristics of the chimneys, such as: level of leaktightness, temperature, condensate resistance, etc. The characteristics are

indicated in the designation of each chimney.

● TEMPERATURA: El número que aparece junto a la T indica la temperatura máxima de utilización, y ésta no debe ser inferior a la temperatura de los humos en la salida de la caldera a la que va a dar servicio.

● TEMPERATURE: The number that appears next to the T indicates the maximum operating temperature, which must not be lower than the temperature of the fumes in the outlet of the boiler to be served by the chimney.

● NIVEL DE ESTANQUEIDAD: Indica el nivel de estanqueidad de la chimenea y para qué tipo de generadores es adecuada según la siguiente relación:

N1 Está indicada para generadores de tiro natural (depresión) P1 y P2 Está indicada para funcionamiento en

presión positiva (sobrepresión) máxima de 200 Pa. H1 y H2 Está indicado para funcionamiento en presión positiva (sobrepresión) máxima de 5.000 Pa.

● LEVEL OF LEAKTIGHTNESS: Indicates the chimney’s level of leaktightness and the type of boiler it is suitable for according to the following: N1 Suitable for natural-draft (depression) boilers P1 and P2 Suitable for operating with a maximum positive pressure (overpressure) of up to 200 Pa. H1 and H2 Suitable for operating with a maximum positive pressure (overpressure) of up to 5000 Pa.

● RESISTENCIA A LOS CONDENSADOS: W en la designación indica que la chimenea es resistente a los condensados y puede trabajar en húmedo.

Si en la designación de la chimenea está la D no es resistente a los condensados y solo puede trabajar en seco.

● CONDENSATE RESISTANCE: W in the designation indicates that the chimney is condensate-resistant and can function in wet conditions.

If D appears in the designation of the chimney, it is not condensate-resistant and can only function in dry conditions.

● RESISTENCIA A LA CORROSIÓN: Vm en la designación indica que la resistencia a la corrosión de esa chimenea no se ha ensayado y por lo tanto se considera que es la del material utilizado para fabricar el tubo interior de la chimenea.

● CORROSION RESISTANCE: Vm in the designation indicates the chimney’s corrosion resistance has not been tested, and therefore the corrosion resistance is considered to be that of the chimney’s inner tube.

● MATERIAL DEL TUBO INTERIOR: L seguida de dos dígitos indica la calidad del material. L20 corresponde al inoxidable 304, adecuado para gasóleo o gas.

L50 corresponde al inoxidable 316L, adecuado para combustibles sólidos y calderas de condensación.

Los últimos tres dígitos indican el espesor de la pared del tubo interior. Cómo mínimo las chimeneas de CONVESA usan espesores: para diámetros de 80 a 300 de 040 = 0.4 mm, de 350 a 600 de 050 = 0.5mm., de 650 o más de 060=0.6mm.

● INNER TUBE MATERIAL: L followed by the two digits indicates the quality of the material. L20 corresponds to stainless steel 304, suitable for diesel oil or gas.

L50 corresponds to stainless steel 316, suitable for solid fuels or fuel oil.

The last three digits indicate the thickness of the inner tube wall, which must be at least 040 = 0.4 mm for diameters of 80 to 300, 050 = 0.5mm for diameters of 350 to 600, and 060 = 0.6 mm for diameters of 700 or more.

● RESISTENCIA AL FUEGO DE HOLLÍN: la G en la designación indica que esa chimenea ha superado el ensayo de fuego de hollín y la O indica que no lo ha superado o que no se ha sometido a él. A continuación de la G o de la O debe estar indicada en milímetros la distancia mínima a materiales combustibles adyacentes.

● BURNING SOOT RESISTANCE: G in the designation indicates that the chimney has passed the burning soot test. O indicates that it has not passed this test or that it has not been subjected to it. Following G or O, the minimum distance to adjacent combustible materials.

Las chimeneas de CONVESA han superado también los ensayos de resistencia al viento, para su seguridad cuando se monten en exteriores.
