PRESENTATION:

ABSTRACT:

This presentation describes the Back trajectory, AERONET, MODIS, GOCART,

MPLNET, Aerosol Synergism (BAMGOMAS) effort to facilitate global aerosol research through assimilation of readily available and readily producible component datasets. Initially, this effort will attempt to provide 12-hourly back trajectory analyses, daily modeled aerosol optical properties, and daily MODIS products at all present and historical AERONET and MPLNET sites. Examples of these products are shown in the presentation. A new data display interface will be developed to accommodate these and any additional products. A development timeline provides as an estimate of future activities for the BAMGOMAS effort and evolution of the AERONET web site.
