Dear friends,
The parable is very simple and of easy comprehension. A father asks his two sons to go to work at his vineyard. The first one says yes, but he does not go. The second one says no, but he felt repentant and went.
Clearly, words are not important but the actions we make in life. Once again Jesus speaks to the religious chiefs of Ismael. Who know a lot about God and speak about him, but they do not open their hearts for the truth of God. Of a God who is not content to send his Prophets to his people, but he who plays a part in human history, sending his son.
A God who is a sinners' friend, who affirms the life and the salvation for all. Including for which we think according to our criterion that for those who are excluded socially. The alcoholics, the homeless, beggars, those with HIV, drug addicts, etc.
Leading us into the Kingdom of Kingdoms and there in God's heart, a place for them.

La parábola es muy simple y de fácil compresión. Un padre les pide a sus dos hijos ir a trabajar a su vina. El primero dijo sí, pero no fue. El segundo dijo no, pero se arrepintió y fue.
Evidentemente lo decisivo no son las palabras, sino los hechos y la vida cotidiana. Una vez más Jesus se dirige a los jefes religiosos de Ismael, que saben mucho de Dios y hablan de él. Pero no abren su corazón a la verdad de Dios. De un Dios que no se conforma con enviar Profetas a su pueblo, sino que el mismo interviene en la historia humana, enviando a su hijo.
Un Dios que es amigo de pecadores que afirma la vida y la salvación para todos. Inclusos para los que pensamos según nuestro criterio que son excluidos social. Los alcohólicos, vagabundos, pordioseros, enfermos de VIH, drogadictos, etc.
Nos llevan la delantera en el Reino de los cielos y hay en el corazón de Dios un lugar para ellos.
