Convoy No. 71 in Al-Karma Village in Santa District on Sunday, January 17, 2021
Under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Ahmed Zaki, University President, and Prof. Emad Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Tanta University organized a comprehensive medical and veterinary convoy in Al- Karma Village in Santa district on Sunday, January 1, 2021.
It was inaugurated by Prof. Sahar Mohey Al-Din Hazaa, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development, in attendance of Mr. Mohammed Abdel Aziz Ghazy, General Manager of Environmental Projects, and Mr. Maher Hosny Saad, General Manager of Community Service.
The Medical Convoy
Patients who visited the clinics were examined. They were 808 cases. Medicaments that costed 40 thousand pounds were given to patients for free. A clinic was held for early detection of breast cancer in cooperation with Health Directorate. In addition, aids were distributed in collaboration with Social Solidarity Directorate.

The Veterinary Convoy
In cooperation with Veterinary Medicine Directorate, the University organized a veterinary convoy in the village where medicaments of examined animals were distributed for free.
These medicaments costed 8000 pounds.
