Holistic Education
Being aware of this emotional overdrive and being able to control the impact of emotions on ourselves and others around us is called emotional intelligence. While self-awareness is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence, relationship management is the ultimate goal.

Results and Discussion
Initial results seem to suggest that the course helped improve the emotional intelligence of the participants. Since both the male-dominated group (the group that received the emotional intelligence MOOC) and the female-dominated control group had very similar emotional intelligence scores at the beginning of the semester (before the course), gender does not seem to confer any intelligence advantage emotional. .
Conclusions
Although more testing remains to be done to determine whether the appropriateness of the course and whether the gender disparity between the test group and the control group played a role in the growth of emotional intelligence, the results reported here could have significant implications as the university continues to develop. developing holistic teaching strategies. Three Instructional Design Techniques for University Faculty Inclusion in Digital Learning
Gamification as “the use of game design elements in non-game contexts” [7] became the third approach we chose to implement as part of instructional design. The learning environment should be supportive and friendly, taking into account that faculty are often “the worst students.”

Introduction
- NPDL and Uruguayan educational reality
Performance indicators in academic assessment also show poor results in mathematics (see, for example, the latest PISA assessment, which shows that the performance of Uruguayan students has decreased, OCDE Report 2016). The second module of the course begins to involve teachers in planning deep learning activities.
Action Research - what are the goals, target, social innovation interventions
Teachers: Educators participate in workshops and enroll in virtual courses from the beginning of the school year. The moderation process takes place at the end of the year so that the activity enters the general repository where other teachers can access it.
A two stages action research results - (and how they will be measured/ registered)
- Stage one: a summary of innovation drivers to be highlighted from the implementation (2013- 2015) so far are
- Stage two: A summary of expected outcomes and factors to be assessed during the second phase of the intervention (2016- 2019)
The Device of the Future (What would a device with no carbon footprint look like?)” (made by Uruguay, launched July 2015); 2. How can we harness the power of the sun to improve our lives?” (made by Australia, launched October 2015); 4.
Conclusions and final observations
Finally, one of the defining features of NPDL is the provision of a set of tools and a specific program. In recent years, social media platforms such as Facebook have become an integral part of the educational experience.
Methodology
Power users typically show high levels of activity from the start of their participation [13]; although studies have also suggested that power users can also learn as they develop [14]. But there is clear evidence of "power learners", if we consider these people as outliers in terms of the number of contributions they make.
Results
We can see that the amount created by power learners never exceeds the amount created by normal users (until right at the end of the observation window when the course itself was long over). We now turn to our second perspective on the importance of power learners.
Conclusions
It is particularly useful in capturing the extent to which nodes are important in terms of facilitating communication between other pairs of nodes within a network. So it's interesting that this seems to show that, rather than starting the network and keeping it together at the beginning, these power learners are more active in terms of trying to keep it together towards the end, while the group as a whole goes away
One of the main challenges for online or virtual implementation of learning strategies in rural areas has been the quality of Internet access. In today's hyper-connected society, the Internet has come to be considered a public service or even more, an essential right of the population [1].
Background of the Project
The most worrying problem was the lack of the desired quality of Internet access in institutions. When the implementing agencies arrived at the institutions there were a number of mixed feelings and expectations regarding the purpose of the program.
For the implementing agencies to have the possibility to retrieve, update and manage the ESL resources, and to follow the developments of the implementation of the project, the LatinServer will have to be connected to the Internet. This enabled the teachers to be more involved in the program and to increase the use of the technology by the local communities.
Results and Recommendations
Thus, the first consideration for the reader and for future implementers of rural or remote programs is the need for in-situ validation of the information presented in the program before designing a strategy to obtain a more realistic management of expectations and to have a real understanding of the regions' needs. Integrating communities into all grant programs is a fundamental element to increase the long-term impact of projects.

"Corporate University" as Technological and Scientific Support of Virtual Education in Latin America" In C. The field of learning game design has made tremendous strides in the last decade, but moving to the next level will require much more detailed maps thinking and strategizing experiences and learning outcomes in games.
Assessment in Education, Assessment in Games
- Assessment design for games: An introduction
- A bridge too far?
Out of these advances, ZHQD in particular has stood out as a promising approach that has not only attracted the attention of the evaluation arena, but also that of learning game design. In reality, ECD may be the gold standard and provide a tremendous asset in the field of game design, but it is largely out of reach for the average game designer – whether they are veterans of the learning game field or not.
A Second Generation of Learning Game Design: A Unified Model
- Designing Better Learning in Games
- Using the Framework: A New Game Design Methodology
- Example: Designing Quests in Radix, a MMO for STEM
The emphasis of the Balanced Design approach places a far greater emphasis in advance on outlining the learning and content model that serves as the foundation of the game, and the ongoing negotiation between the learning objectives and the tasks (game mechanics), which we will discuss below. Using the Balanced Design framework as a guide for quest design, the Radix team then modified it to fit the project in a way that ensures the method by which evidence is collected and interpreted in-game is consistent with the learning objective, the game is trying to teach.
The Value of This Approach
- Tenet #1: Setting a better foundation of learning in game design
- Tenet #2: Setting a standard for mapping and documenting learning games
- CONCLUSIONS: Moving Towards the Next Generation of Learning Games
Often we begin a learning game design with learning objectives in mind, but using the Balanced Design framework provides the learning objectives and the remaining elements of a complete learning construct as a blueprint for the learning experience at hand. Although ECD has its roots in formal assessment, and was initially deployed in the field of learning game design as a means of creating game-based assessments, we believe that this framework of ECD is too limited and that it offers us a toolkit that offers much more. broadly serves the learning design in learning games.

Miracles in Education through innovation: An Empirical Analysis for Pakistan
Literature Review
They considered that universities were made for the purpose of creating knowledge and disseminating it to all students. Now it is the responsibility of higher education institutions to create effective mechanisms to transfer knowledge for the sake of social or economic development to improve competitiveness or knowledge stock.
Role of Higher Education Commission in Enhancing Innovation Process in Pakistan
For this purpose, the Government of Pakistan has allocated Rs 52.177 million in 2012-13, which is another step towards the development of the education sector (see Figure 6). Not only PhD scholarships are equally provided to talented students across Pakistan, but travel scholarship is equally distributed based on their talent and conference as reported by HEC in the report 2012-13.
Methodology
HEC also has international ties with renowned universities and higher education institutions, which may be distributed by province due to HEC's division of labor.

Evolution And Advancement In Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) To Revolutionize Education: The Case Of Pakistan
One of the new forms of the online educational platform is the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses), which was created as a result of the strategic cooperation between Harvard and MIT[1], and later many other universities around the world joined them. Sometimes the lectures were broadcast on education-related television channels with the help of the state.
