Mitzi Gaynor, born in 1931, is an American actress who reigned as a top leading lady of Hollywood musicals in the 1950s. She trained as a ballerina as a child and began her career as a chorus girl. Gaynor sang, acted, and danced in a wide variety of films, but is best known for her starring roles in the films There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954) and South Pacific (1958).
From 2009 to 2014, she toured with her acclaimed one-woman show, Razzle Dazzle! My Life Behind the Sequins.

The game show, later called The Price Is Right, would become the longest-running daytime game show in North American television history and arguably America’s most
beloved. The game show originally aired on NBC in 1956 before moving to ABC in 1963 and finally airing on CBS. It remains one of the only game show franchises to air on all “Big Three” networks.
