TUMBLR
The Blogosphere
Are you familiar with blogs? A blog is a website that contains an online personal journal with
reflections, comments and opinions. You do not need to be a journalist to write one; in fact many of
the most popular blogs nowadays are written by “normal“ people. Blogs have become really
popular because they give people the chance to express their ideas and feelings on any topic.
Tumblr was founded in New York City and it was launched in April 2007. Some people consider it
the new generations of blogs. You can share anything on Tumblr –photos, videos, texts- and it has
no character limits. Tumblr is a new, quick and easy way to share your interests and, of course,
connect with people who are passionate about the same things as you are.
