575-763-6947.Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
We need also volunteers to be able to offer Holy Communion under both species. Are you confirmed and living in the state of grace? Then you can do this! And we need you. The training will be on Tuesday, May 1st at 6pm, at the church. I beg you to please come.
¡Hazte
parte de nuestra comunidad hispana muy vivaz!

We are also very much in need of volunteers every Friday morning to help prepare for the food pantry on Saturday.
This is a truly beautiful ministry, an essential part of living the Gospel and really helping many in need here in our community. The Food pantry helps literally hundreds of families in this area. If you are interested, please call Rosie Buchan at (575) 309-5040 for further information.
The Food Pantry is currently in need of the following items:

Thank you to the Altar Society and all those who helped prepare and serve the food. Thank you to Knights of Columbus and all those who helped set up and decorate. Thank you to Brenda Loya, Crista Wiegel, Courtney Hodges, Ruben Lucio and all those who helped in the formation of our young people getting ready for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. “Once again Father Marin gets to the heart of the matter, as evidenced in his book on building bridges between the Catholic Church and the LGBT community. Jesus prayed with deep passion that we might be one, and I believe that Building a Bridge goes a long way in helping to answer that prayer. Too often members of the LGBT community have been seen as ‘other’ when in fact together we are brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters. As in any family, we are going to have our differences, but that does not make us any less family. This courageous work is necessary reading for all who wish to build up
the Christian community and to give witness to the Gospel message of inclusion.”

His Mercy Endures Forever...
Our Parish has to give $37,000 to support the work of the whole archdiocese.
So far $22,337 has been pledged and
$15,392 paid. Thank you to those who
have given!!!
But this means our current shortfall is approximately
$14,663 which will come out of our Parish savings
if people don’t contribute.
Also, of over 1,200 families in our Parish, so far only 80(!) families have participated or even pledged anything. That is not
