● When selecting auto mode, air conditioner will operate automatically according to ex-factory setting. Set temperature can’t be adjusted and will not be displayed as well. Press "FAN" button can adjust fan speed. Press "SWING" button can adjust fan blowing angle.

● It’s defaulted to display set temperature when turning on the unit.There is no display in the remote controller.

● Only for the models whose indoor unit has dual-8 display.

● When selecting displaying of indoor or outdoor ambient temperature, indoor temperature indicator displays corresponding temperature and automatically turn to display set temperature after three or five seconds.

Press this button to set clock time. " " icon on remote controller will blink. Press "▲" or " " button within 5s to set clock time. Each pressing of "▲" or " " button, clock time will increase or decrease 1 minute. If hold "▲" or " " button, 2s later, time will change quickly. Release this button when reaching your required time.

Note:

● Clock time adopts 24-hour mode.

● The interval between two operation can’t exceeds 5s. Otherwise, remote ller will quit setting status. Operation for TIMER ON/TIMER OFF is the same.

After this function is set, the remote controller will send the detected ambient temperature to the controller and the unit will automatically adjust the indoor temperature according to the detected temperature. ● Please put the remote controller near user when this function is set. Do not put the remote controller near the object of high temperature or low temperature in order to avoid detecting inaccurate ambient temperature.

Function introduction for combination buttons

Energy-saving function

Under cooling mode, press "TEMP" and " CLOCK" buttons simultaneously to start up or turn off energy-saving function. When energy-saving function is started up, "SE" will be shown on remote controller, and air conditioner will adjust the set temperature automatically according to ex-factory setting to reach to the best energy-saving effect. Press "TEMP" and "CLOCK"buttons simultaneously again to exit energy-saving function.

Note:

● Under energy-saving function, fan speed is defaulted at auto speed and it can’t be adjusted.

● Under energy-saving function, set temperature can’t be adjusted. Press "TURBO" button and the remote controller won’t send signal.

● Sleep function and energy-saving function can’t operate at the same time. If energy-saving function has been set under cooling mode, press sleep button will cancel energy-saving function. If sleep function has been set under cooling mode, start up the energy-saving function will cancel sleep function.

Child lock function

Press "▲" and " " simultaneously to turn on or turn off child lock function. When child lock function is on, " " icon is displayed on remote controller. If you operate the remote controller, the " " icon will blink three times without sending signal to the unit.

8℃ heating function

Under heating mode, press "TEMP" and "CLOCK" buttons simultaneously to start heating function. When this function is started up, " " and "8℃ " will be shown on remote controller, and the air conditioner keep the heating status

Replacement of batteries in remote controller

1. Press the back side of remote controller marked with " ", as shown in the fig, and then push out the cover of battery box along the arrow direction. 2. Replace two 7# (AAA 1.5V) dry batteries, and make sure the position of "+" polar and "-" polar are correct.

3. Reinstall the cover of battery box.

Note:

● During operation, point the remote control signal sender at the receiving window on indoor unit.

● The distance between signal sender and receiving window should be no more than 8m, and there should be no obstacles between them.

● Signal may be interfered easily in the room where there is fluorescent lamp or wireless telephone; remote controller should be close to indoor unit during operation.

● Replace new batteries of the same model when replacement is required. ● When you don’t use remote controller for a long time, please take out the batteries.

● If the display on remote controller is fuzzy or there’s no display, please replace batteries.

● Use dust catcher or water to clean the filter.

● When the filter is very dirty, use the water (below 45℃ ) to clean it, and then put it in a shady and cool place to dry.

Install the filter and then close the panel cover tightly.

■ The filter should be cleaned every three months. If there is much dust in the operation environment, clean frequency can be increased.

■ After removing the filter, do not touch fins to avoid injury.

■ Do not use fire or hair dryer to dry the filter to avoid deformation or fire hazard.

General phenomenon analysis

Please check below items before asking for maintenance. If the malfunction still can’t be eliminated, please contact local dealer or qualified professionals.

El cable eléctrico está demasiado caliente o dañado.

El aparato hace un ruido anormal.

El interruptor de circuito se dispara con mucha frecuencia.

El aire acondicionado huele a quemado.

•

La unidad interior gotea.

•

Si el aire acondicionado funciona en condiciones anormales,

puede provocar averías, descargas eléctricas o un incendio.

Al encender o apagar la unidad con el interruptor de

funcionamiento de emergencia, presione este interruptor con un

objeto aislante que no sea metálico.

No se suba encima de la unidad exterior ni coloque objetos

•

La instalación debe ser realizada por personal cualificado.

En caso contrario, pueden producirse lesiones personales o daños

materiales.

•

Al instalar la unidad, se debe seguir la normativa de seguridad

eléctrica.

•

Utilice circuitos eléctricos e interruptores conformes a la normativa

local de seguridad.

•

Instale un interruptor de circuito. Si no lo hace, la unidad puede no

funcionar correctamente.

•

En el cableado fijo deberá conectarse un interruptor general con

una separación de contacto de al menos 3 milímetros respecto a

todos los polos.

•

El interruptor instalado debe tener la capacidad adecuada.

Consulte la tabla siguiente: El interruptor de aire debe incluir un

bucle magnético y un bucle térmico para proteger contra los

cortocircuitos y la sobrecarga.

•

El aire acondicionado debe estar conectado a tierra. Una toma de

tierra incorrecta puede provocar una descarga eléctrica.

•

No utilice cable eléctrico no homologado.

•

Compruebe que el suministro eléctrico coincide con los requisitos

del aparato de aire acondicionado. En caso de un suministro

eléctrico inestable o un cableado incorrecto o en mal estado,

instale cables eléctricos adecuados antes de utilizar el aparato.

•

Conecte correctamente el cable de corriente, el cable neutro y la

toma de tierra.

•

Antes de realizar cualquier trabajo eléctrico, y por su seguridad,

compruebe que el aparato está desconectado de la corriente.

El aire acondicionado es un aparato eléctrico de primera

categoría. La toma a tierra debe realizarla un profesional con un

dispositivo especializado. Asegúrese de que siempre esté

conectado correctamente a tierra, de lo contrario se podrían

producir descargas eléctricas.

•

El cable amarillo-verde del aparato de aire acondicionado es el

cable de toma a tierra, y no puede ser utilizado para otros fines.

•

La resistencia a tierra debe cumplir la normativa nacional de

seguridad eléctrica.

•

El aparato debe estar colocado de manera que se pueda acceder

al enchufe.

•

Todos los cables de la unidad interior y la unidad exterior tienen

que ser conectados por un profesional.

•

Si la longitud del cable eléctrico es insuficiente, póngase en

contacto con el distribuidor para que le facilite uno nuevo. No

alargue el cable usted mismo.

Descripción de los botones del mando a distancia

Nota:

• Al ponerlo en marcha, el aire acondicionado emitirá un ruido.

• El indicador de funcionamiento está en posición ON (indicador rojo) A continuación, puede programar el aire acondicionado con el mando a distancia.

• En posición de encendido, al presionar el botón del mando a distancia, el icono de señal " " del visor del mando a distancia parpadeará una vez y el aparato emitirá un sonido, que significa que la señal se ha enviado al aparato de aire acondicionado.

• En posición de apagado, se mostrarán los iconos de temperatura y reloj en el visor del mando a distancia (si se han establecido valores para el temporizador y la luz, los iconos correspondientes también se mostrarán en el visor del mando a distancia). En posición de encendido, en el visor se verán los iconos de función correspondientes.

Botón ON/OFF

Al presionar este botón, el aparato de aire acondicionado se enciende o se apaga. Al poner en marcha el aparato, aparece el indicador de función ON (verde) en el visor de la unidad interior, (el color puede ser diferente según los modelos), y la unidad emitirá un sonido.

Botón MODE

Presione este botón para seleccionar el modo SLEEP o TURBO. AUTO COOL DRY FAN HEAT

• Al seleccionar el modo AUTO, el aire acondicionado funcionará automáticamente según la configuración de fábrica. No se podrá variar la temperatura establecida y tampoco se mostrará en el visor. Con el botón "FAN" se ajusta la velocidad del ventilador. Con el botón "SWING" se ajusta el ángulo de las paletas.

• Si se selecciona el modo COOL, el aire acondicionado funcionará en modo refrigeración. Se encenderá el indicador de refrigeración de la unidad interior. Presione el botón "



" o "



" para ajustar la temperatura.

• Presione el botón "FAN" para ajustar la velocidad del ventilador. Presione el botón "SWING" para ajustar el ángulo de las paletas.

• Si se selecciona el modo DRY, el aire acondicionado funcionará a baja velocidad en el modo de secado. Se encenderá el indicador de secado de la unidad interior. En el modo DRY, no se puede ajustar la velocidad del ventilador. Presione el botón "SWING" para ajustar el ángulo de las paletas.

• Si se selecciona el modo FAN, el aire acondicionado sólo funcionará como un ventilador, sin refrigeración ni calefacción. Presione el botón "FAN" para ajustar la velocidad del ventilador. Presione el botón "SWING" para ajustar el ángulo de las paletas.

• Si se selecciona el modo HEAT, el aire acondicionado funcionará a baja

velocidad en el modo calefacción. Se encenderá el indicador de calefacción de la unidad interior. Presione el

botón "

" para ajustar la temperatura. Presione el botón "FAN" para ajustar la velocidad del ventilador. Presione el botón "SWING" para ajustar el ángulo de las paletas. (la unidad que solo sea de refrigeración, no recibirá la señal del modo calefacción. Si se establece el modo calefacción con el mando a distancia, la unidad no se pondrá en marcha al presionar el botón ON/OFF).

Nota:

• A fin de evitar la salida de aire frío, tras poner en marcha el modo calefacción, la unidad interior tardará entre 1 y 5 minutos en emitir aire (el tiempo de espera dependerá de la temperatura ambiente interior).

• Ajuste la temperatura desde el mando a distancia entre 16 y 30 ºC; y ajuste la velocidad del ventilador: auto, baja, media, alta.

Botón FAN

Con este botón se ajusta la velocidad del ventilador como: auto (AUTO), baja ( ) ,media ( ), alta ( ).

Nota:

• En el modo velocidad del ventilador AUTO, el aparato seleccionará la velocidad adecuada automáticamente según la configuración de fábrica.

• En modo DRY, la velocidad del ventilador es baja.

Botón SWING

Este botón le permite seleccionar el ángulo de oscilación hacia arriba y abajo. Puede seleccionar el ángulo de salida del aire de forma progresiva tal y como se muestra a continuación:

Si se selecciona " ", el aire acondicionado pondrá en marcha el ventilador automáticamente. Las lamas horizontales se desplazarán automáticamente hacia arriba y hacia abajo, en su máxima amplitud.

● Al seleccionar " " el aparato expulsará el aire mediante el ventilador en una posición fija. La lama horizontal se detendrá en una posición fija.

● Al seleccionar " " el aparato expulsa el aire en un ángulo de movimiento. La lama horizontal expulsará el aire en ese ángulo de movimiento.

● Mantenga presionado el botón " " durante más de 2 s para ajustar el ángulo deseado. Cuando consiga el ángulo deseado, suelte el botón.

Nota:

Es posible que la opción " " no esté disponible. Cuando el aire acondicionado recibe esta señal, el aparato pone en marcha el ventilador automáticamente.

En modo COOL o HEAT, presione este botón para cambiar a modo COOL rápido o a modo HEAT rápido. El icono aparece en el mando a distancia. Presione este botón otra vez para salir de la función turbo. El icono desaparecerá.

Botón SLEEP

Botón TEMP

Al presionar este botón, podrá ver la temperatura establecida, la temperatura ambiente interior o la temperatura ambiente exterior en el visor de la unidad interior. Los iconos se van viendo progresivamente de la forma siguiente:

•

Al seleccionar " " o en blanco con el mando a distancia, el indicador de temperatura de la unidad interior muestra la temperatura establecida.

• Al seleccionar " " con el mando a distancia, el indicador de temperatura de la unidad interior muestra la temperatura ambiente interior.

• Al seleccionar " " con el mando a distancia, el indicador de temperatura de la unidad interior muestra la temperatura ambiente exterior.

Nota:

• El valor de la temperatura ambiente exterior no está disponible en algunos modelos. Aunque la unidad interior recibe la señal " " la temperatura que se muestra es la interior.

• Al poner en marcha la unidad, el valor que aparece por defecto es la temperatura establecida. El mando a distancia no tiene visor.

• Solo para modelos cuya unidad interior tienen un visor dual-8.

• Al seleccionar que se muestre la temperatura ambiente interior o exterior, el indicador de temperatura interior muestra la temperatura correspondiente y automáticamente vuelve a mostrar la temperatura seleccionada transcurridos 3 o 5 segundos.

Botón I FEEL

Presione este botón para iniciar la función I FEEL . El icono " " aparecerá en el mando a distancia. Una vez activada esta función, el mando a distancia enviará la temperatura ambiente detectada a la unidad que ajustará automáticamente la temperatura interior según la temperatura detectada. Presione este botón otra vez desactivar la función I FEEL. El icono " " desaparecerá.

• Tenga el mando a distancia cerca cuando tenga activada esta función. No deje el mando a distancia cerca de un objeto a alta o baja temperatura o la temperatura detectada será incorrecta.

Botón LIGHT

Presione este botón para pagar la luz del visor de la unidad interior. El icono " " en el mando a distancia desaparecerá. Presione este botón de nuevo para enceder la luz del visor. El icono " " aparecerá.

Pulse este botón para ajustar la hora. El icono " " del mando a distancia parpadeará. Presione el botón "

" durante 5 s para ajustar la hora del reloj. Cada vez que presione el botón "

Nota:

• La hora del reloj tiene el formato de 24 horas.

• El intervalo entre dos operaciones no puede superar los 5 segundos. En caso contrario, el mando a distancia pasará a modo de reposo. El funcionamiento para TIMER ON/TIMER OFF es el mismo.

• Botón TIMER-OFF

Con el botón TIMER OFF se ajusta la hora de apagado automático de la unidad. Al presionar este botón, el icono " " desaparece y la palabra "OFF" parpadeará en el mando a distancia. Presione el botón "

" para ajustar la hora de apagado (TIMER OFF). Cada vez que presione el botón "

" la hora de apagado automático se adelantará o se retrasará 1 minuto. Si mantiene presionado el botón "

Al presionar "TIMER OFF" la palabra "OFF" dejará de parpadear. Se vuelve a mostrar el icono " ".

Cancelar TIMER OFF: Con el modo TIMER OFF activado, presione el botón "TIMER OFF" para cancelarlo.

Nota:

• En el modo de apagado y encendido automáticos, la hora de apagado y encendido se puede establecer simultáneamente.

• Antes de ajustar la hora de apagado y encendido automáticos, ponga en hora el reloj.

• Después de activar el modo de apagado o encendido automáticos, ajuste el aparato a circulación constante.

• El aire acondicionado se pondrá en marcha o se apagará a las horas establecidas.

• El botón ON/OFF no afecta a este modo. Si no necesita esta función, utilice el mando a distancia para cancelarla.

Descripción de funciones con combinación de botones

Función de ahorro de energía

En el modo refrigeración, presione los botones "TEMP" y "CLOCK" simultáneamente para activar o desactivar la función de ahorro de energía. Cuando la función de ahorro de energía está activada, "SE" aparecerá en el mando a distancia, y el aparato ajustará la temperatura automáticamente según la configuración de fábrica para conseguir el máximo ahorro energético. Vuelva a presionar los botones "TEMP" y "CLOCK" simultáneamente para salir de la función de ahorro de energía.

Nota:

• Cuando la función de ahorro de energía está activada, la velocidad del ventilador está en modo automático y no se puede cambiar.

• Cuando la función de ahorro de energía está activada, la temperatura no se puede cambiar. Al presionar el botón "TURBO", el mando a distancia no enviará ninguna señal.

• La función SLEEP y la función de ahorro de energía no se pueden activar al mismo tiempo. Si la función de ahorro de energía está en modo refrigeración, al presionar el botón SLEEP se cancelará la función de ahorro de energía. Si la función SLEEP está en modo refrigeración, al activar la función de ahorro de energía, se cancelará la función SLEEP.

Función de calefacción 8ºC

En el modo calefacción, presione los botones "TEMP" y "CLOCK" simultáneamente para activar o desactivar la función de calefacción de 8 ºC. Cuando esta función está activada, " " y "8 ºC" aparecerán en el mando a distancia, y el aparato se mantendrá en el modo calefacción. Presione de nuevo los botones "TEMP" y "CLOCK" simultáneamente para salir del modo 8 ºC o desactive la función de calefacción 8 ºC.

Nota:

• Cuando la función de calefacción 8 ºC está activada, la velocidad del ventilador está en modo automático y no se puede cambiar.

• Cuando la función de calefacción 8 ℃ está activada, la temperatura no se puede cambiar. Al presionar el botón "TURBO", el mando a distancia no enviará ninguna señal.

• La función SLEEP y la función de calefacción 8 ºC no se pueden activar al mismo tiempo. Si la función de calefacción 8 ºC está en modo refrigeración, al presionar el botón SLEEP se cancelará la función de calefacción 8 C. Si la función SLEEP está en modo refrigeración, al activar la función calefacción 8 ºC se cancelará la función SLEEP.

• En modo ºF, el mando a distancia mostrará una temperatura de 46 ºF.

Función de bloqueo para niños

Presione "



" y "



" simultáneamente para activar o desactivar la función de bloqueo infantil. Cuando la función de bloqueo infantil está activada, el icono " " aparece en el mando a distancia. Si intenta utilizar el mando a distancia, el icono " " parpadeará tres veces sin enviar ninguna señal a la unidad.

Función de cambio de unidad termométrica

En modo OFF, presione los botones " " y "MODE" simultáneamente para cambiar la unidad termométrica entre ºC y ºF.

1. Después de conectar el aparato a la red, presione el botón ON/OFF en el mando a

distancia para poner en marcha el aparato de aire acondicionado.

2. Presione el botón "MODE" para seleccionar el modo deseado: AUTO (automático),

COOL (refrigeración), DRY (secado), FAN (ventilador), HEAT (calefacción).

Sustitución de la pilas en el mando a distancia

1. Presione la parte posterior del mando a distancia marcada con " ", tal y como se muestra en la figura, y a continuación extraiga la tapa de las pilas siguiendo la dirección de la flecha. 2. Utilice 7 pilas AAA 1,5 V y compruebe

que la polaridad es la correcta. 3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de las pilas

Nota:

Durante el funcionamiento, dirija el mando a distancia hacia la ventana de recepción de la señal de la unidad interior.

• La distancia entre el mando a distancia y la ventana de recepción de la señal no debe ser superior a 8 m, y no debe haber obstáculos entre ambos.

• La señal puede verse alterada debido a la presencia de lámparas fluorescentes o teléfonos inalámbricos; el mando a distancia debe estar lo más cerca posible de la unidad.

• Utilice baterías del mismo modelo cuanto tenga que cambiarlas.

• Si no va a utilizar el mando a distancia durante un largo periodo de tiempo, extraiga las pilas.

• Si el visor del mando a distancia se ve borroso o no se ve nada en absoluto, cambie las pilas.

Funcionamiento de emergencia

En caso de pérdida o avería del mando a distancia, utilice el botón auxiliar para encender o apagar el aire acondicionado. A continuación se describe cómo hacerlo: Según se muestra en la figura, abra el panel y presione el botón aux para encender o apagar el aire acondicionado. Al encender el aparato de aire acondicionado,funcionará en modo auto.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

ADVERTENCIA:

• A fin de evitar descargas eléctricas, apague el aire acondicionado y desconéctelo de la corriente antes de proceder a la limpieza.

• No limpie el aire acondicionado con agua. Podrían producirse descargas eléctricas.

• No utilice líquidos volátiles para limpiar el aire acondicionado.

Limpieza de la superficie de la unidad interior

Cuando la superficie de la unidad interior esté sucia, se recomienda utilizar un paño suave, seco o húmedo para limpiarla.

NOTA:

● No retire el panel durante la limpieza.

- Si el filtro está muy sucio, utilice agua (menos de 45 ºC) para limpiarlo, y déjelo secar antes de volverlo a instalar.

ADVERTENCIA

• El filtro se debe limpiar cada tres meses. En caso de un ambiente con mucho polvo, aumente la frecuencia de limpieza.

• Después de retirar el filtro, no toque las aletas, podría cortarse.

• No utilice fuego o un secador de pelo para secar el filtro. Podría deformarse o provocar un incendio.

NOTA: Comprobaciones antes de la temporada de uso

1. Compruebe que las entradas y salidas de aire no estén bloqueadas. 2. Compruebe que el interruptor y los enchufes estén en buenas condiciones. 3. Compruebe que el filtro esté limpio.

4. Compruebe que los soportes de la unidad exterior no estén dañados o corroídos. Si es así, avise al distribuidor.

5. Compruebe que el tubo de drenaje esté en buen estado.

Nota sobre reciclaje

Análisis de casos generales

Compruebe los casos a continuación antes de llamar al servicio técnico. Si la avería continúa, póngase en contacto con el distribuidor o con el servicio técnico.

Compruebe si hay una lámpara fluorescente en la habitación.

- Lleve el mando a distancia cerca de la unidad interior. - Apague la lámpara fluorescente y vuelva a intentarlo.

La unidad interior no emite aire

Compruebe que la entrada o la salida de aire

de la unidad interior no estén bloqueadas.

Elimine los obstáculos.

Compruebe que en modo calefacción, la temperatura interior alcanza el valor establecido.

Una vez alcanzado el valor de temperatura establecido, la unidad interior dejará de emitir aire.

Compruebe si acaba de poner en marcha

el modo calefacción.

Para evitar la salida de aire frío la unidad interior empieza a funcionar al cabo de unos minutos. Esto es normal.
