Under patronage Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, and Prof. Emad Etman, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the General Administration of Environmental Projects at Tanta University organized a comprehensive medical and environmental convoy in Mahallat Khalaf village in Samannoud district on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
It was inaugurated by Prof. Sahar Mohey Al-Din Hazaa, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental
Development, and Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development, in attendance of Mr. Mohammed Abdel Aziz Ghazy, General Manager of Environmental Projects, and Mr. Maher Hosny Saad, General Manager of Community Service.
834 patients visited the clinics. They were examined and were given medicaments for free. These medicaments cost 40 thousand pounds. In addition, aids were distributed in collaboration with Social Solidarity Directorate.
The Medical Convoy
The Medical Convoy was inaugurated by vice deans of faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy. Doctors examined the patients and pharmacists supervised distribution of medicaments for free to 834 patients who visited the clinics.

In cooperation with Veterinary Medicine Directorate, the University organized a veterinary convoy in the village where medicaments of
examined animals were distributed for free. These medicaments cost 8000 pounds.
