Spirituality is the base of Jyotish Shastra. Thousands of years ago our an- cient knowledgeable forefathers composed this science, which is being used as it is till today. We have been able to verify the principles of this science in accordance with the scientific line of thinking & also prove the accuracy of these rules by the scientific method.

The human life is a unification of different parts of various subjects. Out of these some are physical happiness, family happiness and happiness of means of living (service, profession). Out of these, in family life, the happiness of marriage is an important subject. Same is taken here for consideration. The gist of the funda- mental line of thinking of astrology is that, the person gets to experience that kind of life which is related to his Bhoga Prarabdh (destiny), which is related to the plan- etary positions in the sky on the day, time and place of birth (the latitude and longitude of the place of birth). But here it should be kept in mind that the planetary formation, horoscope and date of birth etc. are just the medium and not the cause.

Any person is not just born at any time and place without reason or any incident also does not occur at anytime without reason. The relation of the desirable or undesirable incidents is totally tied with the destiny only. But the whole universe itself is being regulated by the principles of discipline and administration of Parameshwar(the Creator). Therefore, though there is no relation whatsoever of the planetary formations to the incidents happening in our lives, yet the indications can be tracked from the planetary formation. This only was understood by the Seers and Hora Shastra was created. The

arrangement is made by the administration of God that the person should be born or incident should occur only on that particular time and day, when the planetary positions in the sky is appropriate to the condition of ‘giving’ of the destiny. That is why it is experienced that the guess of incidents already happened in the past can be made correctly from the horoscope.

The beginning life takes on a date & time and according to the planetary formation existing at that time, the good or bad incidents can be traced. Exactly as per this rule, same is observed about all the subjects like profession, family life etc. and this has been proved by scientific method. The date of appointment of the service, or the date of beginning of business, tells us the desirable or un-desirable, future for whole period of that service or business. Similarly the date of marriage is the date of birth of their family life and it tells us about the future of whole family life of that couple. In this manner the beginning of any subject is indicative of the good or bad effects of that subject. Following this rule when we started to investigate by scientific method, in the case of almost all the subjects it was found that— the actual picture of good or bad incidents or conditions in life in that subject, and the good and bad picture in that subject obtained from the planetary positions on the date of start or dates of incidents (according to the method of our Graphic Soft- ware) both are the same.

Conclusion:-This graph is drawn by using innumerable rules and methods of

Jyotish Shastra (astrology) only, and it shows the desirable or otherwise symptoms of the Bhog-Prarabdh(destiny) regarding that subject. After the study of thousands of cases, it is found that this inference is accurate. Several researches conducted in this respect are also published. By this method, by verifying with scientific method, we have proved the “scientific nature” of astrology alone and presented before the society.

The basis on which this computer program of the graph is made will not be restated here for avoiding the expansion; however for this you may see the second paragraph in my article in ‘Grahankit’ issue of May 2006.

Of course, this is not our new research. By keeping this important aim only in ‘Muhurt’ (favorable time for a subject as per planetary positions) matter in the ancient Shastras, the Hora Shastra has been created. The Panchang Shastra is made such that all these Muhurtas should be according to rules of the Hora Shastra, the Gochari (actual planetary formations in the sky) of that day and also the favorability or un-favorability determined according to the rotation of the sun, moon and earth, and that all good jobs should be done on good Muhurtas.

But the Muhurtas have to be given to a person as per his own horoscope. The horoscope of every person being different, to give all muhurutas according to them in the Panchang is impossible due to the difficulty of great mathematical work required. That this deficiency has remained in the muhurta shastra of Panchang is what we realized. Basically the Muhurtas given in the Panchangas are definitely suitable or proper. But even then the enquirer or the person who wants the Muhurt the individual horoscope not being included, the deficiency of person specific use- fulness not being known from the Panchang Muhurtas has remained. Due to this deficiency only, all those who start their business on “three & a half” Muhurtas, not all of them are doing well; or even after performing the marriages on good Panchang Muhurtas, all pairs are not happy in their married lives.

There were many persons who knew this fact. But because of the impossibil- ity to keep the thousands of rules and methods of Shastra in memory, the deficiency of person-specific use of Horashastra remained. Due to this reason only, while giving guidance on the basis of horoscope, following anomalies were found:- one horoscope, one query, but ten different answers of ten Jyotishes ; in hundred pre- dictions by one astrologer or in the predictions done by 100 Jyothishis only a few were correct. This was not the fault of the Shastra. We have tried to remove exactly this deficiency and got a considerable success.

After verification of thousands of horoscopes by the scientific system of our graphic, it was found that when the date of marriage was un-favorable, 90% of them did not have a happy married life, but as against that when the date of marriage was favorable, then 90% of them enjoyed a happy married life. If it is so, and also as

per inductive logic, then hereafter why should we not tell to those coming to us that “you should marry when graph is favorable”? Obviously, due to this

scientific system, many have benefited and many more are going to be benefited. Except a Sadhu, Sant or a Yogi or God, no one knows the answer of the

question of the father of a girl “When will my daughter be married?”; neither the common man nor the Jyotishi(astrologer). In fact we Jyotishis do not know when our own daughter, or son, will be married and we ourselves have to wander every- where to search a proper boy or girl. This is not the fault of the Jyotishi because no person can memorize innumerable rules and systems; hence this defect is bound to arise.

The real worry of a common man is about the place where she is to go and whether she will be happy wherever she is married; rather than when the marriage of his daughter will take place. This is the least expectation he has and this is the thing that is given by our graphic system.

If the boy or girl marries in the favorable period as shown by our graph, then 90% pairs can enjoy happy married life, without calamity. This is not a blind faith, but it is a matter of proof given by the research done by the scientific method; and the aim behind this is that it should prove to be useful for the society. Not only marriage but the answers for a number of subjects can be had by this graphic system on these lines. In the case of marriage, through our system the following questions can be answered, and by getting the correct answers, these can be used in life.

Question No 1. Through this marriage, will our son/daughter get family happiness for whole life?

This question arises through the medium of good or bad experiences in the life of every guardian in his personal life. Family life that way appears to be a single question, but really it is not a single question, instead it is an amalgamation of many subjects. If you ask many people “How is your family life?” then while starting the answer, a common sentence attracts our attention “Every thing is O.K in a way, but ……” Because the family life is not a singular subject, it is like the tree with many branches spread wide and long.

For explanation I present a detailed example. Suppose there is un-favorability regarding the pleasure of children. Some of our friends will declare “you can’t bear children” as if they have come to know completely the destiny of the Jataka! Where we don’t know anything of our own destiny, how are we to know other’s destiny? According to Shastra, the meaning of ‘the un-favorability regarding to children’ is any of the following:- 1) there won’t be child 2) If they give birth to a child it may not survive or if survived, it may be handicapped, 3)Child is there but it will not take interest in education, or if educated can’t get service, 4) child’s service is good but salary is not commensurate, or the service conditions are very troublesome. If everything is O.K. with respect to the child, there are troubles regarding child’s health or wife or his children, court matters etc. 5) If every thing is alright, he is in foreign country and keeps no happiness except his sending money etc. Child’s job, marriage, children, social life all these matters may still have other long offshoots. This is named as family life. Now read the article “short-cut” in ‘Grahankit’ issue, Aug 2006 and think yourself whether it is possible to decide about family pleasure by only broad considerations? If this can’t be considered, then examine the lives of those who have married by short-cut and then you will be convinced.

In our system, subject 4 is for marriage and 21 is for family life. It is found that if marriage took place in the period when there was favorability in these two graphs, then that pair had a good family life ,. But it does not mean that the pleasure will also be there in the context of the offshoots discussed above, because the

destiny doesn’t take the responsibility of these subsidiary branches. The new

and new individuals coming into our life, and the new Karmas and mistakes are not included in our basic destiny. Lot of change is effected because the new individuals coming into our life do come with their own destiny Same is with Karmas. Every- thing is alright but by falling prey to some allurements, some new undesirable Karmas are done for Sanchit, so it can’t be said to belong to old destiny. This is a part of deep study. So the knowledgeable persons, by thinking over it, should understand that the nature of astrology is not as limited as we presume to be. Therefore by knowing the limits of destiny pertaining to 4 and 21, if the beginning of those subsidiary offshoots could be done in the favorability of related graph, then one may get to live a pleasurable life.

Question No-2: Will the newly coming daughter-in-law give pleasure to in- laws?

It can be easily seen that this is a sub-branch of the family life. If according to the horoscopes of the daughter-in-law and the in-laws, in the subject 21 of family life, if there is favorability(on the date of marriage), then there will be pleasure amongst them. In the graph, proved by scientific method, what harm is there to look for this question? Well, if you require only 10 minutes drawing the 10 graphs where does the difficulty lie? If the date of marriage is selected according to favorability of horoscopes of in-laws, the happiness will exist. If not, it should be presumed that there will be troubles. Otherwise it is better to understand that in family life such minor wrangling are going to exist and neglect them.

Question No-3: By this marriage will these two get the pleasure of children? The answer to this offshoot will lie in the strength of joint where this branch is attached to the main stem. The general understanding is that there are children because there is marriage. The Bharatiya culture is good; therefore this principle is widely maintained. Therefore the pleasure of children is attached to the date of the marriage. For this the no-15 graph, whether it is favorable or not on the date of marriage, can be seen. Here, supposing that this pair is to have three children, it is to be understood that the average of the individual destiny of their 3 children is going to be shown by this graph. If it is favorable, the pleasure from all the three, or at least of 2 children, will be there. If it is un-favorable then all the three will have shattered all the expectations, or circumstances may make us to say that one of them is somewhat better. This also can be seen from this graph.

Question No-4: After this marriage, will the previously adopted business be continued?

In this matter circumstantial thought will have to be done. The business done by ladies only can be expected from the girl. If boy is farmer and the girl is Ph.D., in such case she won’t go to the farm by taking shovel in her hands, possibly on the other hand she will always keep bothering the boy! If from the horoscope of the girl

the No.31 graph for business is favorable, she will definitely help the family by doing some business. The important thing here is that such questions can be an- swered with this system.

Question No-5: Will this partner be useful for business? My son works in political field, or does a certain business. Will this girl be suitable assistant to him? This is already explained in Q. No 4 above. Similarly, ‘whether that girl is interested in political subjects? Stage fear? Leave the will for social welfare, but whether she has the will to earn money and fame by shortcut?’ at least this will have to be seen. According to the horoscope of that girl, along with the graph no. 31- profession, if graph no 36 of financial pleasure is also favorable on the date of marriage then this happiness also will be good. This also can be seen in this.

Question No-6: Whether this pair will get pleasure in this or any other new house to be purchased? The house is a material thing. In any material thing, there is no power at all of creating any effect like that of Destiny. Excuse me, I don’t want to digress but while passing I have just given my opinion. The pleasure obtained living in a house depends on the date on which they have started to live there. This is the part of research done by scientific method, so there is no relation with the date of marriage. Therefore, instead of Grih Pravesh, if the date of start of living in that house is favorable in the graph nos. 21 and 12 according to their horoscopes, then there should be no problem to get good happiness. We have verified that those who started living in this manner in houses known as inauspicious also have got happiness in living in those houses.

Now can all such things be judged by the system in vogue? Do we consider of all these branches of the tree while arranging the marriage? Will the Hora Shastra be found really beneficial by using short cuts? I think that all things like this should be thought over by the knowledgeable persons therefore all this is given here. Even if you understand that this experiment is not limited only in the case of marriage we have taken here, but it can be done for verification of several subjects; and that the Hora Jyotish Shastra can be used like the science, then my mission is accom- plished. For this you don’t need either a computer or the software. You can get these graphs drawn from any centre of this Jeevan Margdarshan near to you. You can get these graphs at your home by telephonic orders. Not only many people are doing this, but many astrologers also are demanding it. It is quite easy for you to get it even by phone. There is no difficulty in understanding the graphs and date-wise information is provided.

Therefore from our research of 40 years, we have determined quite a differ- ent conclusion. I have tried to solve this question by giving appropriate consider- ation to, and also by including, the ancient astrological line of thought, spiritual thoughts, the present social trend and modern science. Presently a book of 500 pages ‘Adhyatma, Vidnyan and Jyotish’ (Spirituality, Science and Astrology) has been published in Marathi.
