WANNA BE A CAMP ROCK COUNSELOR?
Are you in high school and interested in being a Camp Rock counselor? It is a wonderful experience of leadership and community. Camp is designed for junior high students (6-8 graders) and counselors would lead small and large group activities. Camp dates are June 8-11, 2019 and August 1-4, 2019. You can apply to be a counselor at one or both camps.
If you’ve participated in Camp Rock as a camper in the past, that’s even better! But NOW in the time to apply!
Pray about this commitment and talk to your parents and friends before you make a decision to apply. “Know in your heart first and then your schedule to see if you are truly being called to this awesome journey.” (Director John)
You can request the counselor application forms at www.camprock.me and return the completed application forms by mail before January 1
st. You will also receive information of the training requirements. Mandatory counselor training meetings are on Fridays from 6:30pm-9:00pm (various dates from Feb-May), all held at St. Daniel the Prophet, 101 West Loop Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189.

CONFIRMATION MEETING
There will be mandatory meetings for those who are in their second year of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Who should be at the meeting? The students of the Religious Education Program who will celebrate their Confirmation at the end of this school year and at least one of their parents/
guardians. There are two options to attend. The same material will be presented at each bilingual meeting held in the gym and will last approximately 2 hours.
Option #1: Friday, Nov. 9 6:00-8:00pm Option #2: Saturday,Nov.10 9:00-11:00am

Our Christmas Gift Sale and Bake Sale is approaching! It will
be held Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9am-5pm and Sunday, Dec. 2
from 9am-3pm. In addition to the wonderful variety of new items
for sale, there will be individual vendors selling their handcrafted
wares or items from various local companies. If you would like
to rent a table to sell your items, please contact us. There are a
limited number of tables available. Table rental is $20 per table

¿Estás en la escuela secundaria y estás interesado en ser un consejero de Campamento Rock? Es una experiencia maravillosa de liderazgo y comunidad. El campamento está diseñado para estudiantes de 6-8 grado y los consejeros dirigen actividades en grupos grandes y pequeños. Las fechas de los campamentos son del 8 al 11 de junio de 2019 y del 1 al 4 de agosto de 2019. Puede solicitar ser consejero en uno o ambos campamentos. Si has participado en Campamento Rock como un campista en el pasado, ¡eso es aún mejor!
