Hello everyone!
With Labor Day past and some brisk days this week, autumn is arriving. What that means for us this year, at the very least, is an attentiveness to make the most of every nice day we still have.
We are also remembering September 11, asking God for his care and help as our country goes forward.
As noted in last week’s bulletin article, Archbishop Listecki is challenging us to return to our Sunday Mass routine next weekend. As each of us tries to figure this out, what is safest and most helpful for each person and family, let us use this opportunity to review how we safeguard Sundays as a day of the Lord. As our lives get busier, come up with your Sunday plan. Hopefully, many can safely join us at St. Patrick’s, in the church proper or outside in their cars. Some of you will continue to watch our Mass or another online. In this, please see where you can take time to give thanks for all the gifts God has given you and how to be generous with those around you, especially those you may need to forgive (see our Gospel today).
Finally, our next parish project is already on the horizon. After praying to the Holy Spirit for 12 months, to ignite his fire in us, we are going to work to harvest the fruit the Spirit brings us (Galatians 5: 22-23). Stay tuned for more information. Estimated start time: October 4, 2020.

Ya ha pasado el Día del Trabajo y con algunos días frescos esta semana, llega el otoño. Lo que eso significa para nosotros este año, como mínimo, es estar más pendientes para aprovechar al máximo cada día bueno que nos queda. También estamos recordando el 11 de septiembre, pidiéndole a Dios su cuidado y su ayuda mientras nuestro país sigue adelante.
Como se mencionó en el artículo del boletín de la semana pasada, el arzobispo Listecki nos desafía a regresar a nuestra rutina de la misa dominical el próximo fin de semana. A medida que cada uno de nosotros trata de descubrir qué es lo más seguro y beneficioso para cada persona y familia, aprovechemos esta oportunidad para repasar cómo cuidamos del domingo como el día del Señor. A medida que nuestras vidas se vuelven más ocupadas, elabore su plan dominical. Ojalá que muchos puedan acompañarnos de manera segura en San Patricio, en la iglesia o afuera en sus autos. Algunos de ustedes continuarán viendo nuestra Misa u otra en línea. We will be starting Religious Education classes on Sunday, October 4ththis year. We are not sure if we will be meeting online, in person, or a mixture of the two yet. We will have activities and lessons that children can do at home as well. We will continue to give you more details as we know them. Thanks for your patience. If you ordered a CD of pictures of your child’s First Communion Mass, they are now available. Rick has them in the Faith Formation office. You may show up to the office on Thursdays between 10 AM and 3 PM or make an appointment with Rick to pick up yours. Each CD costs $5. Special thanks to Becky Ludeman for taking all the pictures and making the CDs.
