El Papa Francisco ha pedido a toda la Iglesia, 1.200 millones de católicos, que ore fervientemente por las vocaciones el 22 de abril. Hoy la Iglesia en todo el mundo ora por las vocaciones. ¿Harás un esfuerzo especial para pedirle al Señor más vocaciones al sacerdocio y a la vida religiosa?
• Ora por los sacerdotes que te han ministrado durante toda tu vida, tanto vivos como muertos.
• Mantenga a nuestros párrocos en sus oraciones durante toda la semana.
• Ora desde el corazón por los hombres y mujeres jóvenes de tu propia parroquia que están llamados a ser hermanos, herma- nas y sacerdotes.
• Aliente a los feligreses a orar, y realmente exprese su aliento directamente a los adolescentes y adultos jóvenes.

55th Annual 2018 World Day of Prayer for Vocations
Pope Francis has asked the entire
Church—1.2 billion Catholics—to earnestly pray for vocations on April 22.
Today the Church throughout the world prays for vocations. Will you make a special effort to ask the Lord for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life?
• Pray for the priests who have ministered to you throughout your life, both living and dead.
• Keep our parish priests in your prayers throughout the week.
• Pray from the heart for the young men and women in your own parish who are called to be brothers, sisters, and priests.
• Encourage fellow parishioners to pray—and to actually voice their encouragement directly to teens and young adults.
• Encourage your children, grandchildren, or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest or religious brother or sister.
• Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God’s call.

Monthly Mass for Life is May 5
The Monthly Mass for Life will be celebrated May 5 at 8 a.m. at San José Parish in Austin. There will be a prayer vigil after Mass at the church or an abortion facility. The primary goal of Sidewalk Ministry is the conversion of hearts - focusing on the soul of the mother seek- ing an abortion and all those with her. Details are available at www.

Rehearsal will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 7pm in the Main Church.
Saturday, line-up is at 5:15pm in the Parish Hall (remember to bring your graduation cap and gown).
We invite all 2018 graduates of High School and College, who have been involved or are part of our community to participate in this year’s Graduation Mass. If you are inter- ested, please come by the Faith Formation Office to register.

$2.00 or $5.00. Perpetual Certificates are also available. These en- rollments make excellent gifts for many occasions. Proceeds from these donations are used to educate Seminarians in the Diocese.
The Fund is also used to make low interest loans to parishes for building programs. This has been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women since 1948.
