Offer your mom (or grandmother, aunt, godmother, wife, mother-in-law, sister, friend) a Spiritual Bouquet, where the mother’s name will be placed on the altar during all Masses on Mother’s Day. Pick up a card per ‘MOM’, turn in the envelope with her name on it and give her the beautiful Mother’s Day Card.

I am the Vine, You are the Branches

The Lord challenges us to stay carefully united to him. Just as a branch that is separated from the vine begins to wither and die, so we will wither and die if we are separated from the Lord. How can we stay united to Christ and thus continue to be spiritually alive? A few suggestions:

1. Be at Mass every Sunday 2. Pray every day

3. Don’t be a difficult or angry person 4. Be generous in helping other people Find a ministry to do in our parish

But the Lord also challenges us to bear fruit! One simple way to bear fruit is to invite people to come to church but here are some other wonderful invitations to make to people:

1. Get in touch with the church to get married in the Church

2. Get in touch with the church to receive the sacraments of Baptism, or Confirmation or First Holy Communion if the person is an adult.

Get in touch with us if someone is seriously sick so we can bring them the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and Communion – please do not wait until the person is about to pass away

On this day of the Vine, let us take the Lord’s words very much to heart.

Yo soy la vid, tú eres las ramas

El Señor nos desafía a permanecer cuidadosamente unidos a él. Así como una rama que está separada de la vid comienza a marchitarse y morir, así nos marchitaremos y moriremos si estamos separados del Señor. ¿Cómo podemos permanecer unidos a Cristo y así continuar espiritualmente vivos? Algunas sugerencias:

1. Ven a misa todos los domingos 2. Reza todos los días

3. No seas una persona difícil o enojona

4. Sea generoso al ayudar a otras personas, encuentre un ministerio en nuestra parroquia para servir.

¡Pero el Señor también nos desafía a dar fruto! Una manera simple de dar fruto es invitar a la gente a ir a la iglesia, pero aquí hay otras invitaciones maravillosas para hacerle a la gente:

1. Póngase en contacto con nosotros para casarse en la Iglesia.

2. Póngase en contacto con la iglesia para recibir los sacramentos del Bautismo, o la Confirmación o la Primera Comunión si la persona es un adulto.

Póngase en contacto con nosotros si alguien está gravemente enfermo para que podamos llevarle el Sacramento de la Unción de los Enfermos y la Comunión. Por favor, no espere hasta que la persona esté a punto de fallecer.

En este día de la Vid, tomemos muy en serio las palabras del Señor.

Grupo Familiar Nuevo Nazareth

Es una comunidad que busca fortalecer los lazos familiares, sanando juntos en familia a través del Evangelio para crecer en la fe. Se evangeliza también a los niños a su propio nivel. Tenemos alabanzas, predicas y meditación del Evangelio. Nos reunimos todos los viernes de 6:30 a 8:30pm. En el Salón Parroquial.
