Patron-ess of Cuba, and the co-patronPatron-ess of the Archdiocese, with a week full of events in honor of
Our Lady of Charity.
SEMANA DE LA CARIDAD
Este año, ¡vamos a celebrar la Fiesta de la Virgen
de la Caridad en grande! Tenemos tres eventos
parroquiales para honrar a La Virgen y para
rezar por la paz y la libertad de Cuba y este año
tenemos el deber de rezar por la paz y la libertad
de Venezuela. Las actividades son las siguientes:
Martes, 5 de septiembre: Peregrinaje parroquial a
la Ermita de la Caridad donde el Padre Manny
celebrará una Misa a las 8:00pm en la Ermita a
los pies de la Virgen. El coro de niños de nuestra escuela también
han sido invitados a cantarle a la Virgen. Invitamos a todos nuestros
parroquianos a viajar en su automóvil (sugerencia: vayan en grupos)
hacia la Ermita para este honor que se la ha dado a La Inmaculada.
Jueves, 7 de septiembre: Misa Solemne y Gran Vigilia de la Fiesta
de la Virgen de la Caridad a las 7:00pm en nuestra Iglesia. Seguida
por una procesión con la Virgen fuera de la Iglesia. Por favor traigan
sus velas de la casa para ser bendecidas y para iluminar la noche.
Viernes, 8 de septiembre: GRAN MISA DE LA CARIDAD CON EL
ARZOBISPO: Ofreceremos transportación en autobús con aire
acondicionado a la Misa en Coral Gables. El costo será $10.00 por
persona. Espacio limitado. Llamar a la Rectoría para reservar sus
asientos.

Message from Archbishop Wenski on Hurricane Harvey:
Our prayers and hearts go out to the families that have lost loved ones along with those who have lost homes and businesses, and their sense of peace and normalcy due to Hurricane Harvey.
To assist our brothers and sisters in the many areas affected by “Harvey” I am asking each of the 109 Catholic parishes and missions in the Archdiocese of Miami to take up an emergency
collection this weekend, September 2nd and 3rd.
The financial donations received from this special collection will help support the humanitarian, infrastructure and recovery efforts by of the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops and help provide pastoral and rebuilding support to the impacted dioceses.
If you are unable to make a donation today, please be generous next weekend in the collection basket and mention Hurricane Harvey in the memo line.

COLECTA ESPECIAL POR LOS
AFECTADOS POR HURACAN HARVEY
Este fin de semana en todas las Misas, el
Arzobispo Wenski ha pedido que se haga
una “colecta de emergencia” para ayudar a
los afectados del Huracán Harvey en el
sureste de Texas. Este dinero en su totalidad
brindara a las Caridades Católicas en el área
la oportunidad de ayudar a los más
necesitados
con
los
esfuerzos
de
recuperación tanto de comestibles como de
infraestructura y cualquier otra necesidad
que tengan nuestros hermanos y hermanas
en Texas. En este momento, no estamos
aceptando donaciones de ropa y comida
porque es difícil transportarla a la zona
devastada ya que la mayoría de las carreteras
están inundadas. Su ofrenda monetaria
llegará inmediatamente a Texas para ayudar
a reconstruir.

sigan rezando por todos esos hermanos y
hermanas que han sido afectados con la
siguiente oración:
