On Friday, June 12 with bilingual daily mass at 5:45pm followed by all night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Saturday, June 13 with special bilingual daily mass at 8:00am. All held in the Main Church. All are encourage to join in the special celebration.

Pope Francis has asked us to “care for those who are in need of attention, understanding and help, to bring them the warm closeness of God’s love through tangible actions of sensitivity, of sincere affection and of love.” The Holy Father uses the Peter’s Pence Collection to strengthen dioceses, religious orders and struggling communities of faith when they need it most.

Servus Dei is a three-day social justice adventure for young adolescents between sixth and eighth grades. Servus Dei provides prayer experiences, engaging learning activities based on the life of Jesus and Catholic social teaching and introduces young adolescents to service as an integral part of Christian discipleship. The service involvement takes place at local agencies and centers that assist people in need. The retreat will take place June 18-20 and the cost $85. Summer courses open to all adults
Summer is often vacation time — but it can also be a great learning time! The diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis is offering a variety of cours- es to serve the needs of Catholic school religious educators and parish catechists in the Diocese of Austin.
This year the summer courses are also open to any adult wishing to deepen their Catholic faith and their understanding of topics such as the church’s social teachings, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), styles and theories of adult learning, Christian leadership and more. The five Basic Teachings courses, which cover the U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults, provide a helpful foundation for persons involved in all types of parish ministry, including CRHP and ACTS retreat pre- senters and teams.
All courses (English and Spanish) are held at the diocesan Pastoral Center in Austin and feature instruction by experienced trainers. The courses also include printed materials and books for students. See the course schedule at www.austindiocese.org/fcc2015 for more information and to register.

The Ignited Catholics Young Adult ministry will be raffling off a Saint Joseph’s basket. The basket will be displayed in the office June 8th – June 12th. Based on Catholic teaching, we combine the wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Catholic Church. We offer a women’s Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering. The playgroup meets once a month in different areas of Austin.
