Resumo: O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a evolução dos periódicos com Qualis na Área de Ensino presentes no Triênio (2010-2012) e no Quadriênio (2013-2016), por meio da Plataforma Sucupira, bem como elucidar a quantidade de periódicos da Área de Ensino por Qualis, nos dois períodos de avaliação. Para isto, foram analisados os arquivos gerados pela Plataforma Sucupira, do Triênio (2010-2012) e do Quadriênio (2013-2016), dos periódicos com Qualis na Área de Ensino. Foi quantificado o total de periódicos, dos dois períodos de avaliação, bem como, estratificados os periódicos de acordo com a avaliação Qualis. Foi identificado um acréscimo de 85% dos periódicos com Qualis na Área de Ensino do Triênio para o Quadriênio. No que se refere a classificação dos periódicos pelo Qualis, nos dois períodos de avaliação, verificou-se o crescimento em todos os níveis (A1, A2, B1, B2, B3, B4 e B5), e um decréscimo apenas nos periódicos com avaliação C. Por fim, os resultados deste estudo demonstraram que o aumento do número de periódicos na Área de Ensino, caracteriza o desenvolvimento expressivo da Área ao longo dos anos, bem como, o aumento da possibilidade de publicação mais acessível aos pesquisadores e discentes dos cursos de pós-graduação, de Programas que compõem essa área do conhecimento..
