Go up on to a high mountain, Zion, her- ald of glad tidings;
cry out at the top of your voice…
Isaiah 40:9 Most of us don't associate the sacra- ment of reconcilia- tion with our outside
voices. We don't shout from the high-
est mountain about it. But we should! We can feel pretty ecstatic
about this amazing sacrament, in which Jesus himself heals our broken,
sinful selves. When you've done something you know is wrong and that
hurts someone, it's easy to start hating on yourself. But God loves you and forgives you. Take advantage of this sacrament this Advent. Bring it all to Jesus and let him take it away from you through his cross. That kind of love could make anyone shout for joy.
Advent Action - The second candle of the Advent wreath is called the Bethle-
hem candle and represents faith. Demonstrate your faith by plan- ning a journey to church for the sacra-
ment of reconciliation.

Podemos sentirnos bastante extasiados con este asombroso sacra-
mento, en el que Jesús mismo sana nuestro yo quebrantado y pecaminoso.
Cuando has hecho algo que sabes que está mal y eso lastima a alguien, es fácil comenzar a odiarte a ti mismo.
Pero Dios te ama y te perdona. Apro- vecha este sacramento este Adviento.
Tráelo todo a Jesús y deja que te lo quite a través de su cruz. Ese tipo de amor podría hacer que cualquiera gri-
tara de alegría.
