Comparación entre Very y Too

Gramaticalmente, ambos adverbios expresan el mismo pensamiento, lo mejor es compararlos usándolos en oraciones. Revise estas oraciones y descubra la diferencia gramatical entre estas dos palabras.

• The training was “very” tough. • The training was “too” tough.

Si su amigo dice que el entrenamiento fue (very) “muy” difícil, quiere decir que el entrenamiento fue desafiante pero que aún así pudo hacerlo. Sin embargo, si su amigo dice que el entrenamiento fue (too) “demasiado” dificil , transmite el mensaje de que le preocupa la posibilidad de fallar.

Usamos “muy”(Very) para expresar que algo es simplemente de una gran cantidad. Pero usamos “demasiado”(too) para expresar un significado negativo de tener demasiado de algo.
