Letter from the Pastor
Howdy,
The Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be with us until about 10a.m. tomorrow
(Monday) morning. The church will be open all night for your convenience to come and spend time with her. The Blessed Sacrament will also be exposed on the altar.
This is a wonderful chance for families to come together to pray the rosary or whatever prayer you would like. Some of our parish groups may want to come and pray together as well. There is no organized prayer at any time so whenever you want to come is OK.
Our Lady cannot be left alone and, of course, the Blessed Sacrament cannot be left alone as well; please make an effort to come during the night or early morning. The Blessed Sacrament will return to the Adoration Chapel at 6:00a.m. Monday morning due to Mass at 6:15 and 8:30.
As I said last Sunday, this is a great honor for our parish, please do not miss out and feel free to invite your family members and friends from other parishes.

No debemos dejar sola a Nuestra Senora y, por supuesto, tampoco al Santísimo. Por favor, hagan un esfuerzo porvenir durante la noche o temprano en la mañana. El Santísimo regresará a la Capilla de Adoración a las 6:00a.m. el lunes por la mañana debido a la Misa a las 6:15 y 8:30.
Como dije el domingo pasado, este es un gran honor para nuestra parroquia, no dejen pasar por alto esta oportunidad y no dejen de invitar a sus familiares y amigos de otras parroquias.

Are you or someone you know divorced? Want to learn more about annulments and how to apply?
This annual event hosted by the Tribunal of the Diocese of Phoenix gives anyone interested an introduction to annulments and the application process. There will be presentations in both English and Spanish and the opportunity to ask questions. No RSVP is required. Staff will be available after the presentation for individual questions. All are welcome. Handouts will be available. No petitions will be accepted that day; it is a non-committal event to provide infor- mation only. Free parking is available in the Dicoesan Pastoral Center garage on 5th street between Van Buren and Monroe.

Faith and Family
When people try to trick Jesus into saying some- thing they can use against him, he calls them
“hypocrites.” Like a parent sees right through ma- nipulative children trying to get what they want through leading questions or emotional arguments, Jesus sees what is in their hearts. Both the Phari- sees and manipulative children fail to recognize the true authority of the one they are dealing with. What about us? Do we truly understand that we owe God everything? He sees all. We might as well surrender our futile efforts at control, our flimsy attempts at self-justification. Instead, let us resolve to let go of our petty schemes and “Give the Lord glory and honor.”
