¿QUE VOY A APRENDER?
En esta guía, vamos a conocer el uso de los modales should, must, have to, ouhgt to y future with, be + going to
HAVE TO: (tener que)
Expresa necesidad, este es seguido por la forma simple del verbo principal.
Example:
I have to study English (yo tengo que estudiar inglés) He has to work on sunday (él tiene que trabajar el domingo)
You have to clean your house (tú tienes que limpiar tu casa) She has to speak English in class ( ella tiene que hablar inglés en clase)
MUST (deber)
Es usado para expresar necesidad o probabilidad, este es igual a have to. Must es usado en todas las personas del tiempo presente seguido por la forma simple del verbo principales
Example:
I must study English (yo debo estudiar inglés) You must clean the house ( tú debes limpiar la casa)
He must speak English in class (él debe hablar inglés en clase) She must work on sunday (ella debe trabajar el domingo)
SHOULD: (debería)
Implica moral u obligación. Should es usado en todas las personas del presente seguido por la forma simple del verbo preincipal
Example:
I should study more (yo debería estudiar más) You should clean your house ( tú deberías limpiar tu casa)
She should work hard (ella debería trabajar fuerte) We should do the homework (nosotros deberíamos hacer la tarea)
OUGHT TO (debería)
También expresa moral -obligación y es equivalente a should. Ought to es usado en todas las personas del tiempo presente, seguido por la forma simple del verbo principal
Example:
I ought to come early (yo debería venir temprano) You ought to ask the questions(tú deberías preguntar las cuestiones)
She ought to answer the questions (ella debería responder las preguntas) He ought to stay at home (él debería quedarse en casa)
FUTURE WITH BE GOING TO: STATEMENT
Para expresar tiempo futuro, las palabras going to son frecuentemente usadas con la forma presente del verbo Be.
Going to es equivalente al español ir a. Nosotros usamos going to para intenciones y planes futuros Example: I am going to swim.
You are going to play He is going to Paint.
She is going to sing.
It is going to run.
We are going to write.
They are going to read.
NEGATIVE FORM En oraciones negativas, negamos el verbo Be
Example:
I am not going to use my computer You aren´t going to drive your car Jennifer isn´t going to wash the dishes
INTERROGATIVE FORM En oraciones interrogativas, invertimos el verbo Be con el sujeto.
Example:
Are you going you play next Sunday?
Is he going to call me?
Are children going to swim?
Para responder, lo podemos hacer de una forma corta.
Example: Are you going to be a doctor?
R/: yes, I am.
Are you going to be at home today?
R/: No, I am not.
Is she going to sing?
R/: Yes, she is .

Exercise 1: Escoge la frase correcta con el futuro be going to (A-C) según el siguiente enunciado:
Rick wishes to buy a new car – Rick desea comprar un nuevo carro A. He am going to buy a new car

Exercise 2: Matching- (Relaciona las imágenes con las frases)

Exercise 3: Complete the blanks with the correct form o f be going to ( Completa los espacios en blanco con la forma correcta de be going to)
