NEW PRINCIPAL
We welcome Camille Straub as our new principal. Let us all work together to help her be successful in guiding our school.
Here is a little biography of her life.
As the youngest in a family of seven siblings, I grew up in a strong Catholic family that worked and played together. I graduated from Fort Hays State University with a teaching degree for high school sciences. At Glasco High School, I taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for three years. From there, I moved to Salina and continued teaching the high school science classes at Sacred Heart High School. Upon completion of a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, I transitioned to St. Mary’s Grade School to establish a
counseling program for prekindergarten through sixth grade. I have been in education for thirty-two years with the last twenty-nine years being within the Salina Catholic Diocese.
Working under the former superintendent of the Salina Diocese, Dr. Nick Compagnone, I completed my endorsement for Building Principal and am anxious to assume the principal duties at St. Patrick’s Grade School. My husband Delos and I have been married for 36 years and have five amazing children and seven wonderful grandchildren. We feel that God is calling us on this new journey and we are looking forward to getting to know the parish and school community of St.
Patrick’s.

Como la menor de una familia de siete hermanos, crecí en una familia católica sólida que trabajaba y jugaba junta. completar una Maestría en Consejería Escolar, pasé a St.
Mary's Grade School para establecer un programa de consejería desde prekínder hasta sexto grado. He estado en educación durante treinta y dos años y los últimos

“The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”
Only in the light of Christ does my life make sense. Without the Incarnation, the coming of God as man in the Person of Jesus, my humanity would remain a mystery to me. I would not know my purpose, my destiny, or how to enter into the ultimate, eternal happiness that I am made for. But Jesus reveals to me that I am made to follow Him. He will take me to the Father, to the vision of the Creator that will fulfill all of the deepest desires of my heart.
But I forget this every day. I get caught up in the busyness or self-preoccupation of my life, and lose sight of Jesus, the only One capable of taking me where I truly want to go. The Father sends me the Holy Spirit, to remind me to follow Jesus every day. Only in this way can I come to the Father, who is my destiny. Come Holy Spirit, come through Mary.

Sólo a la luz de Cristo mi vida tiene sentido. Sin la
Encarnación, la venida de Dios como hombre en la Persona de Jesús, mi humanidad seguiría siendo un misterio para mí. No sabría cuál es mi propósito, mi destino o cómo entrar en la felicidad última y eterna para la que estoy hecho. Pero Jesús me revela que estoy hecho para seguirlo. Él me llevará al Padre, a la visión del Creador que cumplirá todos los anhelos más profundos de mi corazón.
Pero me olvido de esto todos los días. Me quedo atrapado en el ajetreo o la preocupación por mí mismo de mi vida, y pierdo de vista a Jesús, el único capaz de llevarme a donde realmente quiero ir. Registration fee: PSR $20 per student or $35 per 2 or more Students.
Confirmation $50 per student or $75 per 2 or more students.
Registration forms will be available in the back of the church.
Bring it to the parish office along with the payment and baptismal certificate.
Classes are offered for parishioners only, non parishioners should provide a letter permission from their parish.

CORPUS CHRISTI EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION
Sunday June 19th at 1:30 PM (Immediately following 12:30 PM Spanish Mass). Children who have received their First Communion this year are invited to attend Mass in their First Communion suits and dresses.
We will have pews reserved for them in the front on the Church. Please arrive at 12:00 PM to take your place and prepare for the procession. Please join us!
