Howdy,
Today we celebrate Trinity Sunday, the feast of the Most Holy Trinity. So...how de we go about explaining the Trinity? We don’t! It is a mystery! But that is not enough.
Our God is a trinity of persons, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit; we all know that, or I hope we do. The doctrine of the Trinity was developed over time, mostly during the 3rd and 4th centuries by some of our greatest theolo- gians. It was developed by reflecting on the scriptures, by looking at the many references to God.
In my 35 years of priesthood I have tried many times to explain the Trinity...and usually failed! It is a mystery, to explain it fully means it is not a mystery. How can God be three distinct persons in one? How can three be one? Maybe because God is greater than us: greater than what we can conceive of in our human minds.
Yet this God who so beyond us also loves us dearly.
God loves us so much that He came to us as a man so we could relate to Him. And then He died for us to save us from our sinful ways. That, too, is beyond what most of us can conceive of: to die for all others.
So let us accept our human frailty and out limits and celebrate something that is eternally beyond us, and yet with us always in love.

Hoy celebramos el Domingo de la Santísima Trinidad, ¿cómo explicamos la Trinidad?
¡No podemos hacerlo! ¡Es un misterio! Pero eso no es suficiente.
Nuestro Dios es una trinidad de personas, Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo; todos lo sabe- mos, o espero que así sea. La doctrina de la Trinidad se desarrolló a través del tiempo, principalmente durante el tercer y cuarto siglo por algunos de nuestros mas grandes teólogos . Fue desarrollada al reflexionar sobre las escrituras, al observar las muchas referencias a Dios.
En mis 35 años de sacerdocio, he intentado muchas veces explicar la Trinidad ... ¡y gene- ralmente he fallado! Es un misterio, explicarlo significaría que no es un misterio. ¿Cómo puede Dios ser tres personas distintas en una?
¿Cómo pueden ser tres ser en uno? Tal vez porque Dios es más grande que nosotros: más grande de lo que podemos concebir en nues- tras mentes humanas.
Sin embargo, este Dios que también está más allá de nosotros, también nos ama profunda- mente. Dios nos ama tanto que vino a nosotros como hombre para que podamos relacionarnos con él. Y luego murió por nosotros para sal- varnos de nuestros caminos pecaminosos. Eso también está más allá de lo que la mayoría de nosotros puede concebir: morir por todos los demás.
Así que aceptemos nuestra fragilidad humana y nuestros límites y celebremos algo que está mas allá de lo que podemos comprender, sin embargo, su amor siempre está con nosotros.

Sentimientos Falsos
Nuestros sentimientos cambian constantemente; sin embargo, les permitimos controlar nuestras vidas. El cono- cimiento de la verdad acerca de lo correcto y lo incorrecto, en lugar de sentimientos poco confiables, debe ser la base al tomar decisio- nes. Los sentimientos son reales, pero pueden no ser exactos o verdaderos. Lo real y lo ver- dadero no es lo mismo cuando se trata de sen- timientos. Judas sintió que Jesús no podía per- donarlo; el sentimiento, aunque real, no era cierto. Nuestra cultura tóxica ha promovido la importancia de los sentimientos en la escuela y los medios de comunicación hasta el punto de que hacemos terribles decisiones sobre la vida con sentimientos cambiantes y poco confiables.
Nuestra naturaleza humana está sujeta al ma- ligno que nos presenta sentimientos negativos para “sentirnos" desanimados, enojados, deprimidos, no amados o abandonados. Debe- mos guardar nuestros pensamientos y senti- mientos. Lidiar con el malvado es parte de la vida. La Iglesia en la tierra se llama Iglesia Militante porque estamos en una batalla cons- tante contra el mundo, la carne y el demonio.
Debemos armarnos con la oración y los sa- cramentos, las armas que Jesús nos dio para usar como medio de protección, fortaleza y crecimiento. Dirígete a Dios en total rendi- ción, sabiendo incluso que en la hora más os- cura, Él está allí, aunque podamos sentirnos solos.
Comparte esto con tu cónyuge. Ayúdense a discernir la ficción de los sentimientos a partir del hecho de la verdad. Ayúdense el uno al otro a estar arraigados en la verdad de Cristo y su Iglesia. Protejan sus sentimientos y sepan que Jesús está con ustedes incluso en la hora más oscura. Vuélvanse a Él con la Coronilla de la Divina Misericordia. Caminen con El en el Vía Crucis. Recen el rosario.

Fake Feelings
Our feelings change constantly;
yet, we allow them to control our lives. Knowledge of the truth concerning right and wrong, rather than unreliable feelings is to be the basis of decision-making. Feelings are real but may not be accurate or true. Real and true are not the same when it comes to feelings.
Judas felt Jesus could not forgive him; the feel- ing, while real, was not true.
Our toxic culture has promoted the importance of feelings in school and the media to the point that we make terrible life decisions on ever changing, unreliable feelings. Our human nature is subject to the evil one presenting negative feelings to us to “feel” discouraged, angry, depressed, unloved or abandoned. We must guard our thoughts and feelings. Dealing with the evil one is part of life. The Church on earth is called the Church Militant because we are in a constant battle against the world, the flesh and the devil. We must arm ourselves with prayer and the sacraments, the weapons Jesus gave us to use as a means of protection, strength and growth. Turn to God in total sur- render, knowing even in the darkest hour, He is there, even though we may feel alone.
Share this with your spouse. Help each other discern the fiction of feelings from the fact of truth. Help each other to be grounded in the truth of Christ and His Church. Guard your feelings and know Jesus is with you even in your darkest hour. Turn to Him with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Walk with Him through the Stations of the Cross. Pray the rosary.

Training is for all servers in the parish which include: Capilla, Church, School and all Adult servers.
Mass dress is required.
• All children must be signed in and out by a responsible adult.
• Please bring a water bottle labeled with server’s name. A snack will be provided.
• Servers are not allowed to have electronics out during training.
• A Parent’s meeting will be held the last 15 minutes prior to dismissal.
Please commit to attend.

[email protected] La Trinidad nos muestra la verdad de que Dios es una comunión de Personas, los Tres Benditos en Uno. Al principio, Dios dice: "“Hagamos al hombre a nuestra imagen". . El UN Dios es un " nosotros" . Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. Este Misterio de la Santísima Trinidad que no podemos entender ni explicar completamente, está en el centro de nuestra Fe Católica.
Al bautizar a los creyentes en el Nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, la Iglesia declara que podemos compartir la vida del " nosotros" que siem- pre ha deseado nuestra fraternidad.
¡Nosotros, meros mortales, ahora podemos vivir la vida divina! La vida que Jesús nos enseña a vivir es sobrenatural: una vida de amor vivida en el poder del Amor mismo. Esto es para lo que fuimos diseña- dos. El " nosotros" en la Creación construyó esto en nosotros. Pasamos este domingo apreciando la reve- lación del " nosotros", y que somos “nosotros", ahora también.
Asombroso, ¿verdad? Gracias, Santísima Trinidad, por todo lo que has hecho en la historia para darme la bienvenida a tu fraternidad.

[email protected] The Trinity shows us the truth that God is a com- munion of Persons, the Blessed Three in One. In the beginning God says, “Let “us” make man in our image.” The ONE God is an “us” – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This Mystery of the Holy Trinity which we cannot grasp nor fully explain, is at the center of our Catholic Faith.
By baptizing believers in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit., the Church declares that we can share the life of the “us” who has al- ways desired our fellowship.
We mere mortals can now live divine life! The life Jesus teaches us to live is supernatural—a life of love lived in the power of Love Itself. This is what we were designed to do. The “us” at Creation built this into us. We spend this Sunday cherishing the revelation of the “us,” and that we are “us,” now, too.
Amazing, isn’t it? Thank you, Blessed Trinity, for all you have done in history to welcome me into your fellowship.
