Clerical Endowment Fund (C. E. F.) Prayer Cards: Cards are available in the Parish Office for a donation of $2.00 or $5.00. Perpetual Cer- tificates are also available. These enrollments make excellent gifts for many occasions. Pro- ceeds from these donations are used to educate Seminarians for the Diocese. The Fund is also used to make low interest loans to parishes for their building programs. This has been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women since 1948.

Servus Dei es una Aventura de tres-días de justicia social para adolescentes entre sexto y octavo grados. Servus Dei provee experiencia de oración, actividades de aprendizaje basado en la vida de Jesús y las enseñanzas Católicas sociales, y introducir a jóvenes adolescentes a servir como parte integral al discipulado cristiano. El servicio toma acabo en agencias locales y centros locales que asisten a gente necesitada. El retiro es de Junio 18 al 20 de Junio y el costo es de $85. Servus Dei is a three-day social justice adventure for young adolescents between sixth and eighth grades. Servus Dei provides prayer experiences, engaging learning activities based on the life of Jesus and Catholic social teaching and introduces young adolescents to service as an integral part of Christian discipleship. The service involvement takes place at local agencies and centers that assist people in need. The retreat will take place June 18-20 and the cost $85. On-time registration must be submitted by June 1st to the Religious Education Office.

Summer courses open to all adults
Summer is often vacation time — but it can also be a great learn- ing time! The diocesan Office of Evangelization and Catechesis is offering a variety of courses to serve the needs of Catholic school religious educators and parish catechists in the Diocese of Austin.
This year the summer courses are also open to any adult wishing to deepen their Catholic faith and their understanding of topics such as the church’s social teachings, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), styles and theories of adult learning, Christian lead- ership and more. The five Basic Teachings courses, which cover the U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults, provide a helpful foundation for persons involved in all types of parish ministry, including CRHP and ACTS retreat presenters and teams.
All courses (English and Spanish) are held at the diocesan Pasto- ral Center in Austin and feature instruction by experienced trainers.
The courses also include printed materials and books for students.

Abraham’s Promise will be hosting a heal- ing retreat on Saturday, June 13, 2015 for those who are suffering from the loss of a pregnancy or young infant. The Pierced by Sorrow, Released into Joy retreat will focus on healing the mind, heart and body after

Infertility & Miscarriage Support: Sarah’s Hope & Abraham’s Promise is a spiritual support program for couples struggling with infertility and miscarriage. Based on Catholic teaching, we combine the wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Catholic Church. We offer a women’s Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adoption and fostering. The playgroup meets once a month in different areas of Austin.
