I want thank everyone who made this Len-ten and Easter season such a powerful and special spiritual experience in our parish. We had so many wonderful activities from retreats, missions, dramas, concerts, recon-ciliation services and so much more that greatly impacted our parish community. Lots of people helped cleaning, preparing
the liturgies and the other events that number in the hundreds. I am very grateful to everyone who gave so generously of their time to help during this busy time – although it is always busy around here.

Missionary Work
Fr. Longoria the pastor from Santa Rosa de Lima Church in Pecos, Texas has accepted our request to do mission work this summer in Balmorhea and Zaragosa Texas. Soon we will begin preparations and training for persons wishing to do mission work this summer. I will have more details as soon as we begin the organi-zation phase this coming month. Now that Easter is here, we can start the needed preparations. The mis-sions will be sometime in late June or early July. We will make an invitation at the Sunday masses. We are all missionaries called to witness to the coming kingdom of God among us. Hopefully, once it is not so dangerous, we will be able to go do mission work in the Sierra Tarahumara.
Some parishioners will be going to Honduras this summer to do some mission work.

Quiero agradecer a todos los que hicieron posible que esta cuaresma y esta Pascua fueran una experiencia especial y espiritual en nuestra parroquia. Tuvimos muchas activida-des maravillosas como retiros. Misiones, dra-mas, conciertos, servicios de reconciliación y mucho más que impactaron grandemente a nuestra comunidad parroquial.
Muchas personas ayudaron a limpiar, prepararon las liturgias y los otros eventos que se cuentan por cente-nares. Estoy muy agradecido con todos que aportaron generosamente su tiempo a ayudar durante este tiempo tan ocupado - aunque siempre está muy ocupado por aquí.

Trabajo Misionero
El Padre Longoria pastor de la Parroquia Santa Rosa de Lima en Pecos, Texas acepto nuestra propuesta de hacer trabajo misionero este verano en Balmorhea y Zaragosa Texas. Pronto comenzaremos con las preparaciones y entrenamiento para personas que de-seen realizar trabajo misionero este verano. Tendré más detalles en cuanto comencemos la fase de organi-zación el próximo mes. Ahora que la Pascua esta aquí, comenzaremos con las preparaciones necesarias. Las misiones serán a finales de Junio o principios de Julio. Haremos una invitación durante las misas domini-cales. Todos somos misioneros llamados a ser testigos de la llegada del Reino de Dios entre nosotros. Ojala, que ahora que no esté tan peligroso, podremos hacer trabajo misionero en la Sierra Tarahumara.
Algunos feligreses irán a Honduras este verano a re-alizar trabajo misionero.
