ALTAR OF REMEMBRANCE
We will have the Altar of Remembrance this year in the foyer of the main church. Beginning this weekend all are welcome to bring a picture of their loved ones and place it on the altar. The altar will remain through most of the month of November up to the weekend prior to the First Sunday of Advent. Please use the following guidelines:
1) Pictures must be in a picture frame no larger than 5” X 7”
(anything larger will be removed).
2) Must have label behind frame with name of the deceased.
3) Must have the name and current/valid phone number of the owner of the picture in back of the frame.
ALTAR MEMORIAL
Vamos a tener el Altar de la memoria este año en la entrada de la igle- sia principal. Comenzando este fin de semana todos son Bienvenidos a traer una foto de sus seres queridos y colocarla sobre el altar. El altar permanecerá durante la mayor parte del mes de noviembre hasta el fin de semana antes del primer domingo de Adviento. Por favor utilice los siguientes pasos:
1) fotos deben estar en un marco de o menos de 5” X 7”
(cualquier cosa más grande será removido).

Next month, Fr. Alberto Borruel, our Pastor will be leading a pilgrimage to various Marian sites in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. Prayer Intention Forms are available this week in the Church office if you would like for Fr. Alberto to take with him on the pilgrimage. Father will pray for your intention during the pilgrimage especially during the celebration of the Mass at each holy site. Please turn in the form to the office during the week. Deadline to submit your prayer intention is November 2nd.

MASS SCHEDULE FOR THE SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS The Solemnity of All Saints is a Holy Day of Obligation on Wednesday, November 1st. Outside of Sunday, Holy Days carry the same importance as Sunday and the faithful are obliged to assist at Mass. The obligation assisting at Mass is satisfied wherever Mass is celebrated in a Catholic rite either on the Holy Day itself or on the evening of the previous day.

Beginning November 1, 2017 we will begin the Novena of Masses for All the faithful departed. If you would like to enroll the names of your deceased loved ones in the Novena of Masses and in the Book of the Dead please complete the envelope in the foyer of the church, place your offering inside the envelope and leave the envelope in the box in the foyer of the church or drop it off at the parish office during business hours. The deadline for enrollment is 5:00 p.m. on October 27, 2017. The Mass Schedule for the Feast of All Souls is as follows:

Perpetual Certificates are also available. These enrollments make excellent gifts for many occasions. Proceeds from these donations are used to educate Seminar- ians in the Diocese. The Fund is also used to make low interest loans to parishes for building programs. This has been a project of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women since 1948.

We offer a women’s Bible study support group, couples healing retreats and prayer services throughout the year.
Adoption Support: Destined: Families Built by Love is a spiritual support program and monthly playgroup for adoptive families. Anyone who has built their family through the miracle of adoption is invited to meet with other families to share the joys and challenges of adop- tion and fostering. The playgroup meets once a month in different areas of Austin.
