SACRED HEART’S

ANNUAL

CHRISTMAS

DINNER, 12-4pm

Each year

Sacred Heart and the

Hackett Family host a

wonderful Christmas

Dinner for the needy in

our Parish and

Community. Sacred Heart School collects gifts for the

children and we provide a traditional Christmas

Dinner and gifts to the children that attend. We are

asking the Parish Community for new soccer balls,

footballs, wiffle balls and bats, blankets, and cash

donations are also accepted. Gifts may be dropped

off at the Parish office. This is a time that we are

grateful for our family and friends. Let’s share our

good fortune with some of the people in the

community that are not able to have a Christmas with

all of the food and gifts! For more information, please

Beloved Community of Sacred Heart Parish

and School,

Have you ever come to Church on Christmas and seen how full it is with so many people? It’s wonderful isn’t it? Or, maybe a family is sitting in the place where you usually sit, or it’s hard to find a seat. Imagine Joseph and Mary trying to find a little space for the birth of their child. All through Advent we’ve been preparing and waiting, and now it is time for the child to be born to us, for Emmanuel to come. Let’s find room for Him, and for each other. Let’s welcome the beautiful and tender Little One into our hearts and into our midst. Open up and make a place, because something wonderful is happening! Someone wonderful is coming to be with us, to be our light, to be our joy, to be Our Savior. Come, let’s fill His Church, and raise our voices with songs of praise and delight, for unto us a Child has been born, a Savior has come! He is Christ, the Lord!

Wishing you a holy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

The Sacred Heart Parish Staff

We don’t always “come toward the light” (John 3:20). Sometimes we prefer the darkness. We might fear being condemned if our deeds are brought to light or we may simply be unable to find our way in the dark. We need the light of Christ to help us believe once more in God’s merciful love. Copyright © 2014, World Library Publications. All rights reserved.
