FROM THE PASTOR...
Dear Parishioners,As you can see from the masthead at the foot of this page, our new priest has arrived from Korea. He is Fr. Simon Hwang Rae Chung from the Archdiocese of Daegu. He is 42 years old, and was ordained a priest on June 24, 2004. We wel-come him to St. Raphael to minister with and for our Korean parishioners.
In last week‟s bulletin, you saw a first announcement about our St. Patrick‟s Day Dinner Program in Brennan Hall on Saturday, March 18th.. The promo also ap-pears in this issue. Two notes about the event. First, in addition to the typical Irish foods, there will be some “alternative” cuisine for those without an Emerald Isle pal-ate.
Second, while the dinner begins at 6 pm, there will be a special live entertain-ment show at 8 pm. The identity of the multi-talented performer is being kept secret, but here‟s a tidbit that might spark your interest. This pro appeared on the popular TV program AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, and, when he did, all three judges (Howard Stern, Sharon Osborne and Howie Mandel) stood up and gave him a standing ova-tion. I think you will be delightfully regaled by his novelty and humor. Tickets now available at the rectory office.
Ten days ago (the Thursday evening of the recent snowstorm) a Honda Pilot entered our rear parking lot about 6 pm and impacted church property four or five times. Damage included two portions of our fence, plus three of the yellow upright barrier poles around the storage container. The erratic driver may have been
“impaired”. Because of the weather, our security video shows the incident in a hazy way (license plate not discernible). If, by any chance, someone witnessed this de-struction, please let us know.
Happy Presidents Day
-Father Jerry Jecewiz

The wife replied, “That‟s because women have to re-peat everything they say to their husbands.” The husband looked up and asked, “Come again?”
