This course is designed tohelp a student to understand the basic concept of paper making, sugar production and oil extraction engineering fundamentals and to handle practical problems facing them during practical work..

a1 Explain the pulping technology using agricultural residues( bagasse and rice straw), in sugar production using sugar cane and oil extraction of cotton seed.
a2Describe Pulping units, process and calculation.
a3Illustrate Oils and fat technology (Theories and unit operation).

1Specify the process of producing paper from baggase pulp, sugar from sugar cane and beet, and oil from cotton seed.

2Analyze Paper manufacture(Theories and unit operation).

3Develop the existing knowledge of using short fiber-pulp to fast running paper machine, beet and sugar cane for producing of high quality sugar and other plant seeds as well as cotton seed for producing of edible oil of high purity.

2Collect the knowledge about theory of refining and water draining in paper production, crystallization in sugar industries and solvent extraction in oil production.
